Sail with me: My experience riding a ship as I travel to the queen city of the south "CEBU CITY"

Hello to you all my fellow hivers, friends, and followers especially to the beautiful active members of the @hiveph community Its' me again @clarabels Happy Monday to you all, I hope you're doing great today and I am so excited to share with you all what I experience today. Monday is the first day of the week, I woke up 4:50am early in the morning, preparing my things and stuff because my husband and I will be traveling to the queen city of the south Cebu City to visit my husband's relatives especially his 87year old grandmother. We were all getting ready to leave and double-checked everything to make sure we don't forget anything. But before anything else, We first visited Tagbilaran Cathedral church to pray and seek guidance for a safe journey.
Whenever I enter the church, I can't help but gaze upwards at the designs and paintings.

After we finished praying inside the church, we immediately went outside to light some candles, praying to guide us and to have a safe journey.

After visiting the church, we headed straight to the port to buy our tickets and pay for the terminal fee. The waiting area for passengers felt new to me since it has been quite a while since I last traveled Cebu, and even if your early, there are still so many passengers traveling, waiting for the ship to arrive.
finally the staff already announced our boarding procedure And I took a quick photo while boarding with my husband and brother-in-law.😊

You can see the sunrise in the picture; the sea was incredibly calm, and as I walked toward my seat, I found myself deep in thought. This was the only time I got to go out while off-duty as a fulltime mom, and I think this trip in Cebu turned out to be a blessing in disguise.😃

Your Monday story really paints a vivid picture. What I like most is the part where you talked on traveling to Cebu City to see your husband’s relatives, especially his 87‑year‑old grandmother. That's deeply meaningful. It’s not just a journey, but a way of honoring family bonds and traditions.
