Travel Tuesday with my family going to Our lady of Fatima Shrine in Carmen, Bohol, Philippines☺️

Have you noticed that unplanned outings turns out to be more genuine and enjoyable than planned ones? well in my case I've experienced this kind of thing quite a few times, hehe. Hello my fellow hivers, friends, and followers especially to the travel lovers of the @worldmappin Community its me again @clarabels How are you this Tuesday? I hope your doing well , may you all have a great day and for todays blog I am thrilled to share with you all what's going on in my travel right now hehe so stay tuned and join with me as I explore Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Carmen Bohol, Philippines.
Honestly, We hadn't actually planned on going out today, but we ended up going on a spontaneous trip because my brother in law kept insisting they needed it for a college project. so we just made hasty preparations and set off for Carmen. From our home in Maribojoc we travelled 58 kilometers from our home going to carmen, our ride will take for about 1 hour and 18 minutes.
When we arrived at our destination, I didn't expect that we would actually have to climb a long stairs to get up to the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine. These stairs were built here because it is an uphill climb to the shrine. Our arrival was actually quite funny because my brother in law were busy hauling 20-liters of water containers up to the shrine they were sweating and panting by the time they reached the top, as we had planned to have lunch there, it’s a lovely spot for a family meal.
When we went up to the shrine, my jaw dropped at the view—the place was absolutely stunning. The breeze was incredibly fresh, and the scenery offered a view of the Chocolate Hills as well as the mountains of neighboring towns. We lit candles and prayed together with my family, It feels wonderful to reconnect with God together with your family, especially with such a beautiful view. after praying, My mom immediately wanted to have her picture taken because the view was so beautiful.

My family and I also took some photos. The place is absolutely stunning; you can see how rich the area is in agriculture. It’s especially beautiful at dawn when the fog rolls into the spot where we took our pictures. You can also catch both the sunrise and sunset here, though we visited around midday, so we missed those moments.

We had actually planned to have lunch at this spot after praying and taking photos of the view, but it turned out we couldn't eat there yet because Holy Mass was still ongoing; so, we decided to head down and look for a local eatery instead.

You can see in the photo how lively we were while eating at the eatery. After lunch, we made a quick stop just a bit further down the road because there was a structure resembling the Eiffel Tower; we took a quick picture and then headed straight home, as it was starting to drizzle and we still had plenty of things to do at home.

and that's it for now my fellow hivers thankyou so much for taking time reading my blog, This means a lot to me. See you on my next blog.
