There are a lot of technical terms in the world of cryptocurrencies and here on Hive that we read but understand very little. If you are not a technical developer or if you have never studied topics such as programming languages, you feel worse than a fly in the Matrix world.

Have you ever read a report from @blocktrades? I often read the same post several times but I just can't understand certain concepts. In some cases, however, after reading here and there and doing some insights, it is possible to understand some technical concepts. For example, do you know the meaning of Hive Cut Hair or Hive Debt? Do you know what exactly that means?

You are not stupid but simply ignorant. At the beginning I thought it really had to do with the barber but then, after having informed myself a bit, I understood the concept much better and today it helps me understand the dynamics linked to $HIVE and $HBD.

But let's start with something more concrete and simple like rewards. Whenever we get paid from a published post or comment we normally get 50% Hive Power and 50% HBD, except some people prefer to receive 100% Hive Power but need to adjust the settings before publishing the post.

This will remain unchanged as long as HBD's market cap represents more than 30% of HIVE's market cap. The only notable note is that the HBD market cap does not count HBDs present in the DHF. If this condition occurs, the system will stop producing HBD and we will no longer receive HBD as a reward but $HIVE (Haircut).

At present, considering $HBD in circulation, Hive Debt would reach 30% only if the price of $HIVE would fall below $0.06, a value very far from the current value above $0.40 but there are more $HBD in circulation and the higher the minimum value will grow.

The interesting part is that the more $HBD you will need, the more $HIVE you will need to purchase and convert. The supply of the stablecoin is very low, just over 12 million HBD (to which are added the 19 million in the Hive Fund). Imagine if the supply reaches $1 billion in capitalization, and a low value compared to other stablecoins out there, the demand for HIVE would really push the price beyond our most positive thoughts.

Ma partiamo da qualcosa di più concreto e semplice come le ricompense. Ogni volta che riceviamo compensi da un post pubblicato o da un commento normalmente otteniamo 50% Hive Power e 50% HBD, salvo qualcuno preferisca ricevere 100% Hive Power ma è necessario settare le impostazioni prima della pubblicazione del post.

Tutto ciò rimarrà invariato finchè il market cap di HBD rappresenterà oltre il 30% del market cap di HIVE. Unico nota di rilievo è che nel market cap di HBD non è conteggiato HBD presenti nel DHF. Se questa condizioni si verificherà, il sistema smetterà di produrre HBD e non riceveremo più HBD come ricompensa ma bensì $HIVE (Haircut).

Allo stato attuale, considerando $HBD circolante, Hive Debt raggiungerebbe il 30% solo se il prezzo di $HIVE scenderebbe sotto i 0,06$, un valore molto lontano dagli attuali oltre 0,40$ ma più $HBD ci sono in circolazione e più alto crescerà il valore minimo.

La parte più interessante è che maggiore $HBD sarà richiesto e maggiore $HIVE sarà necessario acquistare e convertire. La supply della stablecoin è molto bassa, appena oltre i 12 milioni di HBD (a cui si aggiungono i 19 milioni presenti nell'Hive Fund). Immaginate se la supply raggiungesse 1 miliardo di dollari in capitalizzazione, ed un valore basso rispetto alle altre stablecoin in circolazione, la richiesta di HIVE spingerebbe il prezzo davvero oltre i nostri pensieri più positivi.
