POSH: The calm before the official announcement of the launch of PETS NFT
The new year has now come and I hope you are spending it in the best way. For Hive it is a year of confirmations and new relaunches with the spknetwork project and the NFT Ragnarok game now in full launch (the Hive Power snapshot for the airdrop is scheduled for January 06). NFTs are also finding broad consensus and interest from users and developers on Hive.
Another interesting, and currently underestimated, NFT project will be POSH PETS, NFT which will have animals as their theme, mostly at the moment dogs and cats, equipped with various accessories, each with a different level of scarcity. Kind of like Hive Punks, users will be able to buy NFTs with Hive / HBD and at that moment it will be randomly generated. As always, it takes a lot of luck and the more NFT you buy, the greater your chance of finding rare animals.
What will it do with NFTs?
The NFTs are unique and collectible pieces, the PETS POSH will guarantee a certain number of daily POSHs as rewards, obviously the greater the rarity of the NFT and the more POSHs you will get. The goal is to enhance the token and start creating use cases, the proceeds from the sale will be used in part to purchase the POSH on the market and distribute them among the NFT holders.
As you can well understand, owning POSH PETS will initially have a double value: the value of the NFT and the daily POSH rewards. @acidyo also affirmed the help of @dlux for the minting of NFTs and their market for the exchange of PETS. The purpose is on the one hand to enhance the POSH token and consequently to encourage the sharing of content on centralized social media, on the other hand it is necessary to increase interest in POSH PETS.
Personally I think that over time it will be necessary to continue to provide some buying pressure on the token, especially when the HIVE / HBD fund coming from the sale of the NFTs is running out. A possible suggestion could be to establish a commission for each exchange on the market, useful for buying POSH.
It would be exceptional to also create a #playtoearn game in which POSH PETS could possibly be the protagonists, this would provide a higher value than NFTs and the POSH token certainly much wider. I am really very optimistic and for this reason I am accumulating many POSH in my wallet, buying them at a very low price at the moment and certain that in the future, already only with the launch of the NFTs they will certainly have a greater value.

Hey, some good thoughts in here, if we add a fee to trading POSH PETS then those will definitely go towards the token as well similar to how now we will do the same with the post rewards @poshtoken is receiving, curation rewards from delegations (which will vote POSH earners for sharing links), beneficiary rewards sent to it from the OCD community (or anyone who doesn't want to accept too much rewards/autovotes on certain posts) and last but not least, posh pet nft sales. We'll continue thinking of how to best create a consistent buy pressure with what Hive the account gathers while at the same time making the token more scarce (harder to earn a high amount of POSH/mitigate any kind of abuse on Twitter/ and the newest that focuses a bit on passive investors by delegating HP to @poshtoken in exchange for 20% of its daily issuance).
It's not yet set in stone if we'll use dlux, the posh pet artwork is still being created and we don't want to rush it so it turns out as awesome as it can be so we'll leaving our options open as to what network to launch it on until the time is right.

POSHPETS sounds pretty awesome to be honest! Who doesn’t want a Pet ? And in this case a pet that actually generates money (hopefully). My dog cost a lot of money each month with insurance and food, and still she doesn’t lift a paw around the house to help out. I still love her though of course.
Jokes aside I think the concept sounds interesting, and if built on the Hive network it can succeed where crypto kitty failed l.
Animals are now a component of our families, my brother has a Newfoundland cattery, big and tender hairy dogs.

I have no clue where I saved it, either as a bookmark or screenshot or something, but I came across a token a while back specifically aimed at helping animal shelters. Can't remember how everything fits together, and it's a new project or blockchain or something, but I do remember that shelters receive a cut of proceeds, that they can exchange for fiat. Thought for a moment this is the project here, but doesn't look like it. Anyway, anything with animals I'm interested in.
