Comenzamos la mañana muy temprano, ya a las 7 AM estaba cruzando este viejo pero muy fuerte pasamanos hecho de tablas, para poder llegar al otro lado sin cruzar el río. Emprendimos camino a pie, con bolsos llenos de agua, comida y dulces para el camino, había llovido así que estaba todo húmedo y algunos sitios tenía barro, así que era necesario ir con cuidado. El sitio de nuestro destino quedaba a 1 hora y media a pie, así que teníamos chance de ver el paisaje y disfrutar nuestros alrededores.

We started the morning very early, already at 7 AM I was crossing this old but very strong handrail made of boards, to be able to get to the other side without crossing the river. We set off on foot, with bags full of water, food and sweets for the road, it had rained so it was all wet and some places were muddy, so it was necessary to be careful. Our destination site was about an hour and a half walk away, so we had a chance to see the scenery and enjoy our surroundings.

Hay muchas siembras de plátanos, lechosa, patilla o sandía, maíz ya que estamos en la época e íbamos con ese propósito de comer unas deliciosas cachapas y disfrutar. En el camino encontré estos curiosos gusanos, estaban en medio de la calle, y descubrí que se mueven en grupos, cosa que jamás había visto y quedé sorprendida, los gusanos no son de mi agrado ya que les tengo algo de pavor, por algunas experiencias pasadas, sin embargo si ellos no me hacen nada yo tampoco a ellos, hay respeto, los fotografié y seguí mi camino dejándolos seguir su destino.

There are many plantations of bananas, milkweed, patilla or watermelon, corn since we are in the season and we were going with that purpose to eat some delicious cachapas and enjoy. On the way I found these curious worms, they were in the middle of the street, and I discovered that they move in groups, something I had never seen before and I was surprised, worms are not to my liking as I have some dread, for some past experiences, however if they do not do anything to me I do not do anything to them, there is respect, I photographed them and went on my way letting them follow their destiny.

Al llegar nos topamos con una siembra de mi abuela, cosecha pequeñas cosas para su consumo. Y pues fuimos de paso hasta llegar a la casa de las cachapas. Y comenzó el proceso desde cero, desde pelar el maíz hasta molerlo para comer. Fue algo divertido pero me cansé el brazo, ya que no estoy acostumbrada a eso todo el tiempo. Además había muchos animales, los cochinos y sus crías estaban por doquier.

When we arrived we came across one of my grandmother's crops, she harvests small things for her own consumption. And so we went on our way until we reached the house of the cachapas. And began the process from scratch, from peeling the corn to grind it to eat. It was kind of fun but it made my arm tired, since I'm not used to that all the time. There were also a lot of animals, pigs and their young were everywhere.

Se comían las hojas y el maíz, estaban en total confianza y los cochinitos pequeños también, me encantaron, al terminar de comer se acostaron debajo del fogón uno al lado del otro. Y ni hablar de los gatitos, son muy activos y andaban por todo eso, y su mamá gata desde lejos observando todos sus movimientos. Me hubiera gustado quedarme con uno pero en casa no me dejan tener gatitos.

They ate the leaves and the corn, they were in total confidence and the little piglets too, I loved them, when they finished eating they lay under the fire pit next to each other. And not to mention the kittens, they are very active and walked all over the place, and their mother cat from afar watching their every move. I would have liked to keep one but I'm not allowed to keep kittens at home.

También hay hermosos perritos, quienes nos acompañaron a la hora del almuerzo, nos sirvieron una cachapas a cada uno y también sopa de arroz con presas de gallina. Quedé tan full que me dió algo de sueño, así pasamos la tarde hasta la hora de partir nuevamente a pie, y llegar a nuestro destino. Fue maravilloso, volveré muy pronto así que los mantendré actualizados, gracias por leerme, un beso.

There are also beautiful puppies, who accompanied us at lunch time, they served us a cachapas each and also rice soup with chicken prey. I was so full that I got a little sleepy, so we spent the afternoon until it was time to leave again on foot, and reach our destination.
