Weekly Science And Technology Reports - May 28 2023
So, how are we all feeling today ?
Well, for me, I was feeling okay but now that I've raised the question, i still feel okay. 😂😂😂
Alright, let's proceed with our weekly digest.
Just How Deep Is the Ocean? Well, It’s Practically an Alien Planet for Starters
How much knowledge do you know about the water covering the face of our planet ?
For some, it makes up about 75% of our planet, for some it contains fishes and other aquatic organisms. Well, true but there's more and not much is still known about the deepest parts of the ocean. To some extent, deep down in the ocean is considered to be an alien world. Do you know why ?
Okay, keep reading to find out and more. I must warn you, it's a very dangerous place and it's not because of the deadly aquatic creatures but something else. 😬
Wish you could tweak that text? WhatsApp is letting users edit messages
Guess who just got upgraded ?
You're absolutely right - thanks to the title of the report. 😂
Thanks to a new update, you can now edit messages that you've already sent on your WhatsApp, no need to delete them and re-type which could be stressful. I find this new feature very useful as it reduces suspicion and builds trust which seemed to be problems that accompanies messages you delete after sending them - at the receiving end. However, keep reading to find out more.
Researchers built an analogue computer that uses water waves to forecast the chaotic future
Modern computers are fundamentally electronic, that is, they relying on the manipulation of the flow of electrons to carry out computational tasks and in terms of hardware components make use of semiconductors (like silicon). How about a computer crafted out of a bucket of water and utilizes water waves for it's computational processes ?
If you're worried about the size of such computer, you don't need to, as there's a way of reducing it's size. However, keep reading to find out more. This could be the cheapest kind of computer ever invented by man. 😉
Greedy gulls decide what to eat by watching people, finds new research
I don't think i've seen a seagull in real life but it would be nice if i actually......did not. 😁
You will find out why at the end of this report.
They seem to be very fascinating creatures, even though some of us who have come across them find them very annoying - they terrorise people of their food. Don't totally blame them for their misdeeds our laws don't apply to them. However, there seems to be something rather interesting about their nature that fuels such behaviour and do you know what it is ?
If you don't, I think this report would enlighten you. I don't want to see or have any contact with them cos i don't joke with my food. 😤
It is here we conclude today's report, have a thought day and till i come your way again next week.
Lastly, please don't forget to do the needful
If you enjoyed my jargons.
