Meanwhile in Europe

If you're scratching your head thinking what are these dorks cosplaying as, they are trying to emulate the urban rangers form the Ed, Edd and Eddy cartoons, back when kid's shows had a lot of witty humor and interesting themes in them. Although funny they still look like giant dorks and that's how living in Europe feels like right now when the great Russian bully is massing troops at the Ukrainian border all the while pretending like they are not there and it's just business as usual.

The only way to stop a bully is to bully him back and nobody in Europe or the US seems to have those kinds of balls right now so things have turned into a guessing game to figure out if shit is really about to hit the fan or if it's more about Putin getting a stiffy when flexing his military power. I live in a country that is pretty close to all this drama and while I don't expect to be affected by all this geopolitical nonsense, once the explosions start all bets will be off. The price of energy is already sky high so a conflict with the gas rich, vodka drinkers will definitely make things worse.

Nothing like some existential dread for the beginning of the year :)
