Hi fellow Photography Lovers,

Today I'm here with some fun pictures of the Christmas Tree ornaments that we put up the other day!

Christmas Ornaments Closeups

One of the fun things I've tried to do here and there is take some dark snaps of some stuff. The Christmas tree is one of those things that I tried to take some of!

Messing around with some of the settings on the camera is one of the best ways to learn how to use it, in my experience. I was playing with manual mode and don't remember necessarily the settings I was using besides a focal spot of 1.8.

I think this one might be one of my favorites from the series! The deep purple is pretty darn cool I think.

One thing I like to do is have a fun blend of foreground and background stuff going on. The foreground focus and background blur is one of my favorite styles!

Wouldn't be a Christmas tree without a Santa hat!

These are the fun DIY reindeer that our son and I made last year. Brought out again this year, let's see how long they last before they get broken lol

These long tear-drop bulbs are pretty cool. I want to try and capture it a bit better next time, this one was a little rushed.

I like the lightbulb behind it, the bright blue circle and fuzzy reflection off the bulb. Fun stuff!

Ah that's nice! We've lived with snow our whole lives so we are getting away from it lol will you get snow where you are now? It seems like the trees are still pretty green so I don't know if it will happen but it's good to be in Europe!

This is awesome! I love the micro-perspective, focusing the full attention of each shot on a single ornament really brings each one alive in a moment all its own!

Thanks, I had a lot of fun with the closeups! I know that a lot of trees are taken as a whole but it was fun to take some closeup shots of the different ornaments lol

Anyway, yeah I had no idea, but I followed the link and saw it just now. I responded more in depth to the actual post, but will reiterate here just how grateful I am for the honorable mention! Thanks man I appreciate it! Photography is a hobby for me and I quite enjoy it so I'm glad to be able to share some of the things I try to poke around with! I think the closeup of the ornaments are cool!
