Today we had a really crazy bit of weather lately!

I wonder when it happened that I started to consider the weather we are living in as something I don't really love lol
I think one of the things that's been a little difficult this year so far, among other things, is the pretty crazy cold weather that we've been having!
We usually have some decent weather where we live. We are far enough north that we get a decent amount of snow but not so far north that we get so much snow and bitter cold weather that things are a lot more difficult to live with.
We had a hell of a bit of bitter cold weather though! I know that there are several other people here who live in more northern areas for sure so their weather is harder but the length of time we were in the single digits was longer than normal that's for sure lol.
I don't know if us planning on moving to Florida has accelerated our issues with dealing with these weather changes but I've been looking at the weather in the southern United States and man it is something I can envy right now! LOL One day we will get there, that's for sure!

Hahah sadly it does! That was my laptop to boot, which meant it was working hours and not like 5 in the morning or something. It's going to be another one like that tonight! Glad we replaced the windows when we did, the house is a lot more livable lol
I'm so not used to this. I guess it doesn't get quite as cold here as where you are but it's a bit much for this dude. Where I'm from we skip the shitty seasons.
The opposite side of the light switch in the front room is where they ran their fire alarm on the exterior of the corridor. They most likely removed the insulation to connect siren to pull handle. It's co cold outside and warm inside we get condensation on that switch cover.
It's definitely a chilly one this year! I've already had 3 nights go into negative numbers, and tonight's looking to be another one!
If my grand plans stay on track, hopefully in another couple years I can be a snowbird and leave this chilly nonsense behind in the winter.
Yeah it's been a cold one so far lol all good though. We spent the day hanging out on a frozen lake today so that was a lot of fun!
We are totally going to be snowbirds. My wife’s uncle owns property in New Hampshire so we might come back up here to visit and hang out there but otherwise we will live in the south. We’ve lived in New England our whole lives so we are looking for a change to that, even before this sickness nonsense!
That reminds me, one of the nearby lakes had a small community of people that would race ice boats in the winter, I think I'll swing out that way and see if those maniacs have started yet!
