Early Hauling

Hi fellow Toy fans,

Today the little man got a gift in the mail and we couldn’t be happier with how awesome it is for him lol.

Wheeling It

One of the fun things about our son is that he loves anything that has to do with physical labor, trucks, machines or anything else that’s on the lines of a guy that works with his hands. He’s always been fascinated with this type of stuff so we are hoping that it will lead to him having a successful life in some kind of industry, because by the time he gets old enough to enter the working world like that I have a feeling the jobs will be easy because the focus on today’s kids is to go to college or something of that nature instead of guiding them to do trades and work for themselves.

So when we were doing some work at the lake house this past weekend we were planning out some of the stuff we needed to do and one of them was get some dirt and sand delivered. We haven’t gotten it yet but we knew we also needed a wheelbarrow (funny I keep calling it a wheel barrel, sounds more appropriate?) to move all the stuff. He certainly knows what that is from some of the construction shows he watches so he immediately said he wanted one too. These types of things we don’t mind at all buying him because it’s fun and no joke he plays with it for hours. He will have all kinds of fun projects he will be doing with it on his own so it’s a solid purchase.

When the box came in the mail today he was begging me all day to open it but I knew once we opened it he would want to play with it so I had to fend him off until I was finished with work lol.

Putting it together was a little awkward and challenging. The shape and required parts fitting the spots was hard to maneuver but we managed.

What made it a lot easier was the little man helping out, as he always wants to do! He got to use the adjustable wrench which he likes to do but tends to go a little wild with it so he’s not allowed to keep it lol. He threw it around once and nearly broke some stuff so it’s only for doing actual work now.

He immediately demanded we go outside and play with it. Thankfully we had plenty of trash and recycle to get rid of so we had lots to haul with his new wheelbarrow! He proudly showed it off to some neighbors that were out and about, rolling it around and having a blast.

We made a fire tonight and probably the last one of the year since it’s getting warmer out and with that comes the little bastard ticks. He was having so much fun with the thing, finding sticks on the ground and putting them in the barrel and bringing them over to the fire pit to toss them in.

We will be using this thing heavily this spring and summer I can tell you that. Not only for him to play with but it will actually be pretty easy to use it to haul away dirt and stuff when we are moving things around so that’s going to be a pretty good benefit if you ask me! The toy barrel was totally for him I swear!......

I know isn’t the thing awesome?! We love that he enjoys this type of stuff and he’s always helping me, even when I don’t particularly want the help hahah that’s okay though. It’s fun for him and it helps to teach me to slow down a bit, relax and teach him what I can. He loves doing anything like this. It was funny, the other day he was able to tell us something crazy like what type of truck something was that we had no idea he knew but he refuses to learn his letters willingly. Kids and what they do and don’t do lol

He will learn according to HIS interests and HIS timetable. Sounds like you're well on the way to enabling him to unfold and discover what he's best at. Learning and encouraging helping at an early age is a stellar thing to foster in the world.

Hey that’s awesome! Did you use my referral link? If you did you start out with a bonus 25 PRE for free!

Here’s a post I did a while ago about what I do every day to earn PRE tokens. It’s pretty easy once you do it. My best advice is don’t search things too fast. I only do about 1 search per minute when I am trying to earn tokens if I’m behind on my daily earnings. Faster than that and they will disable you from earning for a period of time.
