Today we had some fun checking out the various wild flowers that are mid summer bloomers!

Flowery Walk

I always enjoy going for walks and learning of new plants, especially flowers. I've really come to enjoy the smell of the flowers this last year or two! I don't know what it is but I find it fascinating the smell of them. I may be a broken record here but having a kid is an awesome way to let our inner children out as adults!

These giant orange flowers are really cool ones! We noticed them a couple years ago when the little man was a lot smaller. We would walk by and every year commented on how the flowers would come up soon in the early parts of the summer.

This one here was amazing! I think that someone must have bought some exotic flower or flower seeds because these flowers are definitely not native to the area let me tell you! lol They looked incredible though! They lasted about 2 weeks or so, writing this post a few days after taking the photos. I loved the blend of colors in it! The yellow and pinkish was really cool to see on a flower.

The day wouldn't be complete without seeing a critter though! We've had a lot of bunnies around the area lately! Last year there weren't so many for whatever reason but this year they are coming out in force! Lol. This little shit here was munching on the flower that I wanted to take a picture of! Little bugger, I scared him away seeing that, knowing he was ruining my flower lol.
