Today I’ve been enjoying some different mental breaks while working

LEGO Doesn’t Hurt Productivity

Being able to work from home has some challenges. What it also has are some fun opportunities to take a bit of a mental break here and there! I’ve spent it a few times lately with getting some LEGO nearby and playing with it a little bit!

The LEGO sets we’ve been able to grab have mostly been for the little man but here and there I have been able to buy one for him to help me build but I secretly want to keep it on the shelf so I can play with it! This one is one that I really liked, it’s a Nissan GTR!

We put the car together a while ago, sometime last year but one thing I forgot about were all the cool stickers! When we were doing some cleaning recently I found both the car and the stickers so I decided to put them on and make the cool car look even cooler by getting it decked out with the racing stickers.

A track-ready GTR wouldn’t be one without being harassed by the police let me tell you! For good reason sometimes but I think a lot of times the police officers also just want to have a look at the jacked up car! I know if I was a cop I would pull these super cars over but not give them shit, more to just look at them lol. Thankfully with LEGO I can act that fun situation out! All good that I’m well into my adult years lol

I kind of like the lighting with these shots. It’s washed out in a lot of places but I think it adds a cool element to it! The wheels don’t turn like a real car or else I would take that typical cool car photo with the wheels turned out to one side while the car is there parked lol.

The advancements of the LEGO style has really come a long way! I think the company has totally taken advantage of the people that grew up with LEGO as kids, making them in the models of things that we like as we grow up. They’ve really found a nice market for their stuff lol

Even if it’s just a 10 minute break in between meetings all day, it’s a lot of fun to be able to relax with some cool LEGO like this!
