Today I wanted to marvel at the beauty that I got to experience the other day!

Maine Lake Sunset

We got an opportunity to head to Maine recently to do some fun stuff like fishing and exploring. It was amazing! We head to Maine all the time, weekly at this point lol but one of the things we've spent all of our time at has been the ocean beaches. Those are amazing in their own right but what I've been itching to do is get myself on a lake!

My wife has a friend that invited us to Maine for the fishing trip that he was going on and taking his family, with some kids a little younger than our son was. It was a perfect time to get that checked off!

I got a chance, which I'm grateful for, to spend some time alone to just sit by the waterfront and enjoy the sunset. I wanted to share it with my wife and son but they were otherwise occupied with playing and hanging out near the fire pit so I figured I wouldn't want to miss the chance. Thank god I did because the weather sucked the other nights LOL

Maine is definitely one of my favorite places of all time, besides somewhere like Italy of course. It's got so much variability to it that you can spend years exploring it and not even get to most of it! There is so much beauty all over the place that we know for sure that we will do what we can to own something small on a lake here one day, waterfront ideally but who knows what's in the cards in terms of that stuff lol.

Hope you enjoyed the beautiful scenes that I was able to! We are already planning our trip back to the area, the hotel we stayed at was beautiful and had a lot of cool stuff that was perfect for us.
