Today I'm here with what may be the last of the submarine series!

Monochrome Monday Submarine Engine

It's been a fun and interesting photography journey with the submarine photos here. I think it's one of the longest series that I've done besides the post itself. It's definitely a lot of fun to get to look at the photos and relive a little bit being in the submarine, even if it was just on the land lol

The submarine engine here is one hell of a piece of machinery! It had to produce all kinds of power but be light enough that it wasn't going to be weighing the machine down too much. I think it was all made of aluminum which may have been slightly revolutionary at the time.

There are all kinds of things that go into the various parts of the engine here. Not the least are the gauges and pressure valves among other things. There was all kinds of stuff to look at and touch! It's not likely that those are it but it kind of looks like the engine has some spark plugs there on the wall but I doubt that's what they are lol they could be some type of fuse or something, or injectors!

What this looks like here is something that might be relevant to a car engine but that appears to be an intake manifold. The curved and specific shape is pretty popular. It's got all kinds of nifty things that I would love to figure out one day! Even if I don't get to drive or fix the thing, I think it would be pretty awesome to check it out!
