It's been incredibly cold around here lately that's for sure! I know Jay knows how that is, being in Massachusetts as well! We got this really incredible window of good weather the other day and we took full advantage of it!
We went out to the lake as a way to get out of the house and enjoy some of the beautiful weather. It jumped up to about 48 degrees! It was amazing for sure lol helps to have these days in the cold winter months so that we can get a mental refresh and get a little bit of Vitamin D, something sorely needed living in the colder climes!
It was really fun that we got a chance to see a random winter rainbow! I wasn't expecting this at all that's for sure!
When we were walking around the lake, I didn't even see it but our son yelled look over there! A rainbow!
I was certainly surprised but I really enjoyed it! It was great to be out in the nice weather but it was a special bonus to see a rainbow while we were out. That's not something I've seen many times in the winter!
Hopefully the next thing we see this winter is some cool thunderstorms! Wintertime thunder is definitely a lot of fun because of the crazy temperature differences that happen with that type of stuff.

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
Thanks! I know I usually don’t either and I wouldn’t have got it if our son didn’t point it out to me lol I wasn’t even looking in the direction of it!
Yeah we should be fine where we are. We are lucky in that we have a double feed if electricity and it’s on two separate lines so we’ve only lost power once. Hoping I don’t jinx it lol but we should be good. Plenty of food in the house and it will be good to get out there and get our son in the snow so we can get him out of the house! Yes these bitter cold temps are driving me nuts lol not fun bringing a toddler out in that!
How are you guys going to fare you think? Plenty of great photo ops I think for sure!
I think we will be fine have plenty of food in the house
Apart from shoveling the driveway and foot path I won’t be out in the snow much
Ever since I had TB back in 2007 and had lung damage I didn’t my cope as well as I used to in the cold
Oh man that sucks! TB is brutal, I know someone who had it, not fun!
Hopefully for your lungs sake you don’t get too much down there! Thankfully on the coastline most of the time it’s not as bad as it is inland which works out pretty well for snow!

Wow a winter rainbow. That's interesting. I have never seen a rainbow in winter. The rainbow looks like a colorful bridge over the lake.
Yeah! I know I’ve never seen one in the winter either I don’t think. It was absolutely an awesome sight to see! I didn’t even see it initially, our son pointed it out to me lol glad he did!

It was funny, our son actually mentioned that! He was like "is there treasure at the end of it???" I wasn't about to walk across a frozen lake to see if we could explore more though lol so I said maybe but the leprechauns are fast!

Hahah thanks dude, I have my good days and bad! I’ve managed to get another week scheduled but I’ll try to write some more.
It was actually gorgeous for the day, funny enough. It looked cold but we were comfortable in the jackets we had on instead of cold still. He is constantly running, I’m not going to let him destroy his knees like I did with skateboarding lol
