Completed my Goal of Staking 5K SPS

Staking 5K SPS was goal of my last year which was moved to this year because i cannot complete it last year. But better late than never, I have now staked more than 5K SPS and now moving on with another goal of SPS for this year. I think I have started building the SPS from last year when the airdrop started and since my collection power was low I was getting less SPS. But still I have picked up some pace and got some SPS staked for the future.

SPS is one of the important tokens in Splinterlands and thus we can see so many use cases coming for it. Be it buying promo card from it or any other things. Also we can sense that it will be the main token going forward where all other tokens will just have a supporting role. One of the reason of buying the SPS and completing the goal, because I think there is a talk on replacing the collection power with SPS, I am not sure is it 100% true or what is the ratio but what I am really sure is the use case of SPS staking is increasing.

I have worked on increasing my Collection power to 75K and with SPS coming into picture I now have to work on increasing the SPS going forward and thus doing the same now. I know 5K SPS is quite low and thus I should increase it more. Because since the price of the SPS is low now, you never know when it is going to rise in the future and thus will be hard to accumulate more.

Growing the SPS organically is not the viable option because it takes a lot of time. Though we get more than 21% APR but still you need a lot of SPS to make more SPS. The estimation is that by the year end I will end up around 6K SPS organically hopefully if I get some good rewards. But my target is to get around 7.5K SPS by year end so thar will be like buying from the market. I know 7.5K SPS is also not enough need to get atleat 10K SPS to have some meaningful stake. The price of the SPS is low too and most probably when the SPS in place of collection power comes up the price might start to rise so it's better to start building that SPS from now on so that we do not have to shell out more money at that time.

Let's see what the future holds but I know that SPS will be used in more and more places and hopefully building the SPS would be the best thing to do. I was late to the party but it's better to be late than never. So if you are like me then it's better to start building the SPS from now on.
