Financial Independence is Impossible

Those content creators who are selling you the dream of financial freedom does not say that it's impossible to attain. Every other content creators is telling that you can achive financial freedom in so and so years if you save so and so money for so and so years. But the thing is, it's impossible for you to attain financial freedom early if you just save and invest.

To make financial freedom a reality we have to get money even of we do not work for example passive income. Also that passive income should be such that it can give you atleast 50% of your expenses than only you can think of even retiring early. If your expense for a month is $1K and if you are not getting $500 per month from passive income than you cannot attain the financial freedom fast.

Saving and investing is what everyone does, but does everyone attained financial freedom, no right. It is the dream sold by content creators so that they can get to their financial freedom. I was running a number on my retirement and what I found out that is just 2-3 years time my FIRE number has almost doubled. This means that I have to spend another 5 years working to get to my FIRE which eventually means that I have to work for long.

While calculating the FIRE we keep inflation at 6-7% but the actual inflation has gone upto 20% to be honest in the last 3 years. The expenses have increased, salary not changed and saving going down and eventually the FIRE number has increased. And this will continue, and not gonna stop soon.

And this is why I am saying that getting financial freedom is impossible until ND unless you create that passive income which pays handsomely or you invest in that asset which can appreciate a lot.
