Kindness Costs So Little.

One thing about kindness is that it does not always have to be something big before it actually makes a difference, sometimes it is the small small things that people do , that now stays in your heart for a long time

I have had many people show me kindness before, I do not think I will ever forget some of those moments, Life has a way of bringing people into your path when you least expect it, there have been times when people have helped me without expecting anything in return. They simply chose to be kind, those little acts reminded me that there are still people in the world, when someone is kind to you during a hard moment you hardly forget it, they may not even remember what they did, you carry that memory with you for a long time.

I believe kindness is powerful, you never really know what someone is going through, a simple gesture that seems ordinary to you might mean everything to another person, For me one small act of kindness I can do this week is to help someone who needs things financially, It does not have to be a lot of money. Sometimes even a little amount can make a difference to someone who genuinely needs it, If I come across someone who looks hungry or is obviously struggling I would not mind giving them something.

I can also buy food for someone in my street who may not have enough to eat, Food is one of those needs we often take for granted, for someone who has not eaten all day a simple meal can completely change how their day ends, I do not think kindness should always be about gestures that people will talk about, sometimes the best acts of kindness are the ones nobody else even knows about, helping quietly without expecting praise is something I really admire.

Kindness is not about money or food, sometimes it is checking up on someone, sometimes it is listening when someone needs to talk, It is encouraging someone who feels like giving up, these things do not cost anything, they can mean a lot, I have also learned that kindness has a way of coming, not because we should be kind expecting a reward, because kindness has an effect, when someone receives kindness there is a chance they will show kindness to someone else too.

Before you know it one small act has touched lives, for me I just want to keep doing whatever little I can, I may not be able to solve everyone's problems, I definitely cannot help everybody I come acros, If I can put a smile on one persons face , feed someone who's hungry or make someone's burden a little lighter then I think that is already worth something.

At the end of the day the world can always use a kindness, sometimes changing someones day does not require much all, Just a willing heart and a simple act of kindness from someone like you or me can make a difference.

That is what kindness is all, about.
