Nothing is too small, learn to do the little things yourself

Two roommates lived in a house, one can cook so well and the other do not know how to cook and refused to learn, his roommate used to tell him to come and learn how to cook in case he is not around, he can cook for himself but he wouldn't give a second thought about it.

He would prefer to carry his pocket money at hand, eat road side food then by the time his money got finished he will be consuming his roommate food, each time his roommate cook, he will make sure that the food finished that day, because he can eat a lot, if his roommate want to complain, he would look for a way and make him to laugh, one of the things he used to say to him that makes him to laugh was, "Allow the poor to breathe", so, like that like that, they were living their school life.

A time come that his roommate travel for holiday, and he delay to go back because his brother wasn't feeling too well, and his Dad asked him to stay till Wednesday and look after his only brother, since he will be going for work. Then he will go back to school when his brother shows signs of recovery.

His roommate didn't want to learned how to cook, so his time has come to face it, he thought it was a joke, now he was facing hell, because before he could eat breakfast, he has to go across the street and buy food and like that like that, he was coping, but it gotten to a point where he could not continue it anymore, because whenever he is hungry, he will needs strength to go across the street and eat, imagine someone that was hungry, instead of him to bring something from the kitchen to eat, he will have to trek to where he can buy food.

So he could not cope with it anymore, he had to be eating bread from the store behind him, he ate bread for up to five days, and he began to slim, he didn't had any strength on him, because the roadside food didn't gave him strength no matter what amount he ate.

He pleaded with his coursemates (a female coursemate) to come help him and cook for him, the girl accepted and asked him to make a transfer to her account, so that she buys the food stuffs and go to his place and cook after the class, so he went home and was waiting for his maid to come and make the meal for him but the girl didn't show up.

She used his money and buy textbook, six days time, his roommate came back and, that day, when he was cooking, he was surprised to see his roommate standing next to him, he insists he wanted to learned how to cook, at first, he laughed at him, because he thought it was a joke, maybe he wasn't serious, but he had no idea that, those days he travels home has being a lessons for his roommate.

So, he had decide that he must learn how to cook, as his friend was cooking and he was standing next to him trying to see how he do it, his roommate tell him, "shift a little Joe" allow the poor to breathe.

Nothing is too small, no knowledge is a waste, until you needs them is when you will know how valuable they are.
