A Deep Reflection on Life

Recently, I endured a severe cold that hung on for about a week, and I had quite a battle with it. It's been a year since I last experienced such a harsh illness, and the first three days were so tough for me. Thankfully, I managed to overcome it with the help of some medication and so home remedies. The weakness, fever, and difficulty breathing during that time served as a reminder of our vulnerability.

Sometimes, we perceive ourselves as powerful, but life has a way of exposing our true fragility.People often boast about their achievements and possessions, believing that these define their strength and relevance. However, I've come to realize that nothing truly sets us apart or make us more human than others, as everything we label as "achievements" or "possessions" is left behind when we depart from this world.

None of us carry our so-called "achievements" with us in death. It's a sad reality that many live their lives without a conscious awareness of time and the inevitable end. I firmly believe that if we become conscious of time which passes quickly and the eventual end of our journey, our perspective on life would change. By being conscious of time, I mean recognizing that each day brings us closer to the end of our time on this Earth; we age forward, not backward.

When I refer to "the end," I'm talking about the moment we surrender to the inescapable finality of life, a time when people realize that everything is, indeed, vanity upon vanity. When you deeply reflect on the nature of time and the end of our journey, you'll be compelled to apply your heart to wisdom. This transformation is often evident when you look at adults. In their youth, they may have lived recklessly, but as they age, they gain a better understanding of life and begin to live more responsibly.

While aging, everyone expects you to live right because the old days are the times when we see that you have matured, and young age is when we see that you have more to learn. Growing up, I realized that not many things need to be told to you by others; you have to learn them yourself. We learn from our life experiences and the experiences of others. The most important thing to do is to pause at every moment of your life to reflect more on life; perhaps there is more that needs to be done, which you haven't done yet.

Yea, everything only matters while we are here and so it's important we live right and enjoy life while we have the time. Thanks for your kind words and care, I'm doing great😊

In reality, life goes by faster than you imagine, you have to live each day as if it were your last.

It's sad when some people live as if they will live forever. Hope most of us get this to make the most of the limited time we have.

Many people on achieving great height, they tend to forget the life we are living is borrowed.

We can easily forget that everything has an end, particularly when we transition from challenging situations to comfort. If we should number our days, we will be able to apply our heart to wisdom

If only we were more conscious on the true reality of life, then we will be more alive and perhaps, also live life to the fullest. Our time is limited down here on Earth and caught in the pursuit of vanity for a lifetime is definitely not the way to live one's life.

Very much in agreement my friend, we leave with the same things we brought with us at birth, with nothing, I'm not sure, but I think even without memories. Maturity makes us see life differently. Very good post. Congratulations
