A Successful Launch of The 4th Hive Water Project In Ghana
Another milestone has been attained with the successful inauguration of the fourth Hive water system in Ghana. We had a spectacular ceremony yesterday to officially open the Hive water project. The 87-feet borehole system in Bremang now joins the three boreholes already built in Ghana. We have done it again by showing the world how crypto can change people's lives; Hive is presenting an excellent example of how cryptocurrencies can solve real-world problems.
The project's final phase, which focuses on marketing Hive once the project is ready, was completed yesterday. Educating people about the Hive blockchain is a crucial aspect of the Hive empowers communities initiative.
Everything we have done so far for the Hive empowers communities project hasn't just been about bragging rights rather, it's been about introducing people to Hive, educating them on how it can change their lives. Because of this, we focus a lot of attention on the project's last stage, which is all about promoting Hive.
Opening Ceremony
The inaugural ceremony, as previously announced, took held in Bremang on the campus of Pentecost Senior High School. The program began with an opening prayer by the school chaplain, and afterwards the purpose of gathering was made known.
Following that, the school cultural troupes performed for the audience, dancing with "Adowa" to entertain the entire staff, students, and some members of the Breman community. This was a fantastic performance that livened up the celebration as students cheered them on.
After the cultural performance, the school's Headmaster delivered his address. In his speech, he talked about the difficulties that the students and the Breman community had faced as a result of the water crisis in the area. His previous attempts to reach out to the appropriate quarters for support had all failed until the Hive community reached out to the Breman town.
His biggest joy came from the Breman community's consideration of the students and the need for the project to be built in the school. He then expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Hive ecosystem for the wonderful water facility and, like Oliver Twist, he asked for more.
Exposing Hive
The Hive Ghana team was also invited to speak to the group and inform them about Hive. With the opportunity, we talked about how our society now revolves around technology, and how the blockchain is emerging as a powerful technology that is assisting people in a variety of ways.
Hive stands out among the different blockchains due to its ecosystem with the many decentralized dapps. Hive has shown the world how cryptocurrency may be used for greater good. Right before the gathering was a demonstration of what Hive is capable of, the powerful mechanized borehole system.
With the limited time we had, we were able to introduce the Hive blockchain to a crowd of students and teachers (about 1000+) yesterday. They were impressed not only by the Hive's impacts, but also learning about a technology that allows people to improve their lives.
The Official Launch(Ribbon Cutting)
The ribbon cutting, which symbolized the event's most crucial aspect, happened after the speech. Together with the Headmaster, the Hive team(@collinz,@awuahbenjamin, @ellizbeth), and the school chaplain, this was accomplished. We took it in turns to drink the potable water for the first time after the water facility was unveiled.
This was one of the most beautiful moment of the event when the water project started to supply the Breman community and the school. Everyone who witnessed the occurrence was filled with joy at this time and their faces were lit up with broad smiles.
Hive Branded Books Donation
Another wonderful aspect of the occasion was when we handed over 100 books to the Pentecost Senior High School. These books were made as part of the Hive empowers communities project to help schools in deprived areas.
These books are distributed in large quantities to needy students in need of educational and learning materials to support their education. These are all part of the marketing activities we launched to help a large number of individuals, primarily in the sector of education, learn more about Hive. I was really impressed with how the entire day went and with the number of people who turned out for the event.
