Hive Borehole Project Moves From Phase 1 to Phase 2

We are in the second week of the project where there will be a series of constructional works to give the Hive Borehole a different look and shape. The first phase, which began last week, involved drilling, mechanization, water testing, and treatment. With the experts at work, all of these operations have been carried out successfully, moving the project to the next phase.

In Phase 2, a lot of construction work will be done, starting with the excavation for the foundations for the water tank and the wall that will house the taps. Work at this phase is carried out by expert masons, carpenters, tilers, and electricians who work together to ensure that all operations are executed properly, as the failure of one aspect could have a significant impact on another.

Following the completion of the first phase, we have set a two-week timeline within which all work in Phase 2 should be completed, but we hope to finish ahead of schedule. Work in Phase 2 has already commenced with the foundation construction for both the taps and the water tank. These tasks within this phase are expected to take some time, especially when it comes to constructing the tower that house the large water tank.

The duration required for completion is crucial to ensure that the structure undergoes the necessary curing process to strengthen it. All work during this phase takes several days to complete. With our dedicated workers on-site and their effective teamwork, we are confident in achieving a high-quality outcome in this phase.

Our goal is to finish all the tasks by the end of this week, allowing us to move on to Phase 3, which involves the project's official launch. This is the phase where we hand over the facility for community use and take advantage of this opportunity to showcase Hive's positive contributions in Ghana. While work is ongoing, we are also actively engaging various media networks to cover the event during the final phase.

We're always in touch with the town's chief and local leaders who have been a tremendous help, offering their support and overseeing the ongoing project to ensure it is safe. One of the town's biggest challenges has been access to clean drinking water, and the Hive project has already brought a lot of joy to the residents. They can't wait for the project to be completed and launched so they can finally have access to this much-needed facility.

We're working hard and putting our best efforts into making sure the project is successful and finished as soon as possible. The town has been really welcoming to the construction team and has supported them in every possible way, all to make this project a reality.
