How Ghanaian Businessfolks Have Perceived Crypto

Cryptocurrency is not a new concept in Ghana, as many people are aware of it and have already begun trading and investing in it.. Even though the Security and Exchange Commission and Bank of Ghana hasn't regulated cryptocurrency, a lot of people are already involved in P2P exchanges and other businesses that deal in cryptocurrency trading.

Many Ghanaians now know about cryptocurrencies and how they can trade on various crypto exchange markets thanks to these businesses, but many more are still unaware about crypto.
Many people consider crypto trading or investment to be the riskiest business and would avoid any dealings with it. Of course, crypto has risks, and everyone in the crypto world is well aware of them.

This is why crypto experts always recommend conducting personal research on a specific cryptocurrency before investing. Those who are new may have a different perspective. Some Ghanaian businessfolks, believe cryptocurrency is a fraudulent investment.

That would be general impression about crypto in a country where a number of people hardly engage in online transactions and make electronic payments but mostly use fiat currency for most of their transactions.

The mobile money systems which is now predominant in most West African countries and a very popular means of payments have helped expose many businesses to epayments. These momo systems have been very effective giving people access to transfers, online payments and investment yet has also brought so much issues that has to do to scams. In addition to these scams are several fraudulent schemes that have duped some businessfolks their hard earned monies.

Given the sums of money that some of them have lost as a result of momo fraud and other ponzi schemes, we should anticipate a negative response from them when we talk about crypto investment. Although there are legitimate crypto investments available, such as Hive, it can be difficult for those who believe that crypto is a scam to distinguish between a fake and legitimate crypto.

It wasn't difficult for the students we introduced to the Hive blockchain to join and love crypto, partly because they are technologically savvy. Hive had always piqued their curiosity. Overall, I believe that anyone, regardless of their level of familiarity with cryptocurrencies, can learn about and invest if they have a someone knowledgeable to guide them.

I have made it a goal to engage anyone who is interested in Hive, with time those who are interested would get on board. Bitcoin initially piqued the interest of a small number of people, but as we have seen, it has since gained widespread adoption and global attention.

People may have varying opinions about anything that is unfamiliar to them or that they do not understand, but it is hoped that over time, these misconceptions and misunderstandings will become a thing of the past. With wars raging in some regions of the world, crypto has already become the only convenient method of transaction for the majority of people. I think that over time, a lot of people will fully adopt cryptocurrencies; the question I've always wondered is : when?
