With Hive, we are making a difference and showing the world what we can do with cryptocurrency. Our Hive empowers communities project is assisting people in discovering the numerous advantages of cryptocurrency. For those who have had fears, uncertainties, and doubts about cryptocurrency, Hive has demonstrated why it has so much potential and worth investment. With these projects, we are constantly demonstrating the real-world applications of the Hive blockchain, thereby distinguishing Hive from other blockchains.

Updates on Phase 1

The first phase of the Hive Borehole projects, which always undergo three phases, began yesterday. The drilling and pump installation are the main tasks of this phase. It is a stage where there is constantly labor-intensive work required, with water access being the most important factor. The drilling took about three to four hours, and it took about six hours to finish the entire work for the day. To help with pumping out the underground water, the pump was installed after drilling the borehole.

It was a great moment; the moment we had been anticipating, when water gushed out after the pump was installed and turned on. Normally, it takes hours to flush out all dirts, but it only took a few minutes to flush out the dirt in order to make room for clean water.

To ensure that the water is safe for drinking, tests would be performed and the necessary treatment would be carried out. The drillers had difficulty obtaining water for their work in the area, which prevented them from starting early, but we were pleased to complete phase 1 yesterday.

As was already stated in our previous post , the project is located at Pentecost Senior High School in the Breman town. As work progressed, a few of the institution's staff stopped by to see us. They were so happy about the project and how it would help the students, who have been experiencing water crisis.

The Breman community recognized the needs of the students and it was for this reason that they asked that the water facility be built in the school. We are also pleased with the location as it will also help ensure its safety and proper upkeep.

What Next?
Phase two begins now that Phase one has been completed successfully. Phase two will also involve a significant amount of work. The second phase will include the construction of the tower for the water tank, piping, the construction of the wall where the taps will be installed, and electrical work for the pump machine.

We have estimated a two-week timeline to complete the entire project and hand over the water facility to the school and community. Phase 2 begins this week, with work beginning on Monday, and we will keep the Hive community updated on the project's progress at each stage.

With the work moving along at a good clip, we are confident that the two-week deadline will be met. Everything has been made possible because of the Hive community's support for the project. As a result, we are grateful to everyone who has shown strong support for the project in order to help change the lives of many people.

Thanks for helping to make this a great one like always @collinz. We are really making history here in Ghana with hive empowerment project. I am sure we would have smiles on the faces of all people here at Bremang once this borehole is inaugurated. The hive brands on this project have a significant effect on our promotional objectives.

Great job @collinz. This project was so fast executed - 4th borehole project phase 1. I hope other phases would be done soon. Thanks very much for your precious time allowed for supporting a lot of Ghanaian inhabitants to get portable water to use. My pleasure 😁

Thanks bro. Everything should last for the two weeks specified, but given how scarce the water supply is in this area, we actually wish we could finish earlier. We are happy to see the phase 1 completed and hope to complete the remaining phases sooner.

I can’t wait to hear about phase two. Great job guys. I hope along the line, you consider bringing one of these to Northern Ghana too. One or two communities here could really use this.

There will surely be updates on the subsequent phases of the project. It will be wonderful to have one in the Northern part of Ghana. We can involve a large number of people from the North to be part of revolution. Everyone needs to know about Hive

Well begun is halfway done, pun intended. I am happy you have achieved this milestone and are on the way to providing necessary water to the high school and the students.

It is ironic that only yesterday the state of California in the USA is reported to be demanding of well owners in the state to meter their water and pay them for it, even though the well owners themselves own the land their wells are on, and paid to install the wells themselves.

It would be prudent IMHO to seek assurances in writing from local government that these wells be forever indemnified against such financial obligations.

Thanks!

I'm glad to know about your excitement over this life-changing project. Thank you sir for the excellent suggestion that we seek a written document to ensure that the Hive wells are used without financial obligations. We will surely work on that.
