The third Hive water project in Anwomaso, Ghana, is now one week into its construction process. If all goes according to plan, we expect to finish all of the work in a week. We would like to complete the work sooner so that it may begin to serve the townsfolk, who are all in dire need of potable water.

Even though this wouldn't be sufficient to serve the entire community, it would substantially assist in serving more people. This week, despite the fact that the construction wasn't finished, we saw some residents of the town gathering water for their own use from the recently dug borehole. Because it is difficult to find potable water, they had to take as much as they needed for their use When the water was gushing out.

With this POST outlining all the tasks required at the level, Phase 2 officially began this week. Work seemed to have progressed faster when we engaged every worker this week. The wall where the taps will be installed and the pillar where the water tank will rest have both been expertly crafted by masons.

Each worker (mason and carpenter) was executing their assigned task today as all hands were on deck. While the Carpenter worked on the wooden formwork for the water tank seat, the masons were also building the wall. Once the Masons have completed their job, the plumber takes over. After the water tank has been installed, the pipping work would begin.

The leaders and a few Anwomaso locals have visited us frequently this week to check on the construction's progress. The town leaders have also offered their support in whatever manner they can and made sure the project is situated at the vantage point where it would be monitored and maintained to ensure its long-term sustainability.

We were pleased when they suggested a spot in the center of the community where the majority of the locals could easily access and use the water facility. The project will finally be finished with phase 3, where it will be launched, given to the community for use, and then given media attention to aid in marketing Hive. We are pleased with what we have accomplished this week and anticipate launching the project successfully next week. We value all of the support the Hive community has provided us with regard to Hive empowering communities Project. Thank you
