Updates On Hive Water Project:Project Completion, Plans Underway For The Launch Ceremony
All work has been completed this week bringing the phase two to an end.The water project started two weeks ago and was supposed to undergo three phases to be completed. The first phase involved drilling the borehole and the pump installation.
Following the first phase was the second phase which included laying the foundation for both the tower that will house the water tank and the wall that will also help hold the taps. The phase was then finished with the installation of the pipelines, water tank, and booster machine. The second phase has been extremely demanding, and it is the period in which a great deal of work has been completed.
To expedite the process, all hands were required to be on deck. Following the construction of the tower and wall, the masons, the plumber, and the electrician were all required to work together.
To guarantee that the work was completed on time, @mcsamm and I had to supervise their work and provide them with the necessary materials.
So far, everything have gone well, and we've completed all of the remaining tasks prior to the project's launch. The project's completion and handover to the Agona community will be marked by phase 3, which follows phase 2. Phase 3 focuses on the project's launch and how we plan to promote Hive by publicizing the project.
The day and time will be determined after our final meeting with the Agona municipal leaders. We'd have to let the Agona community leaders know that the project had been completed successfully. We would decide the time that is convenient for all of us, as well as the majority of the town residents, to attend the event. We intend to hold the launch ceremony before the end of the week.
We have yet to hand over the water facility to the Agona community, but it is currently supplying potable water to the residents of Agona town. Hive's potable water system is making a difference in people's lives. With the 93 feet drilled borehole system they will be able to acquire adequate water for their daily needs.
From the beginning, we've had a good working relationship with the town leaders, who have always been helpful. While the work was being done earlier today, two of the leaders(including the chief) came to see how far we had progressed and whether we needed any further help. They have already expressed their gratitude to the Hive ecosystem for the progress we have accomplished. During the launch event, I'm confident they will have more to say to the Hive community.
Our final update will be regarding the launch day and other media publicity preparations we've put in place. Gradually, we're approaching the moment where Hive will write beautiful story in Ghana, the Hive ecosystem will make another history while also demonstrating the real-life application of Hive to the rest of the world.
When we say Hive in changing lives, it's not just a slogan; we now have a tangible example to share with the rest of the world. Thanks to everyone who has aided us in various ways; with your help, Hive is reaching new heights and making a difference in people's lives.
