Largo (from Xerxes) - George Frideric Handel (cover) | Sonic Groove Live Contest Week #26

This is my entry for the Sonic Groove Live Contest Week #26.

I'm playing an organ transcription of Handel's Largo (from Xerxes) by Noel Rawsthorne, but a few things adapted by yours truly!

The Handel Largo movement is a popular classical piece of music which is probably suited to commemoration events or funerals. I recall playing this piece as the entrance music for Remembrance Day a couple of years ago.

This was recorded on the William Hill English Organ Model by Sonus Paradisi, using the Hauptwerk VPO software.

I hope you enjoy my rendition of this solemn movement.
