Simon Preston - Alleluyas

The "Alleluyas" by Simon Preston is probably his most famous organ solo work. Apart from being a composer, he was also an organist and conductor—serving at Westminster Abbey and Christ Church, Oxford. In his younger years he was a chorister and organ scholar at King’s College, Cambridge. Simon passed away on the 13th of May 2022. His contributions to music were extraordinary, and he will be greatly missed.

This live performance is an extract from the Bowral Annual Sponsors Recital held in 2021.
