Splinterlands - BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge - Theme: Little League

A Happy Sunday to all and hoping that the battling with Modern battles is going well and more rewarding to you as well, just like me :)

Yes, it's been a busy week as I switched back to manual play in order to BOTless Modern battles and I already see I am earning almost 4 times the normal battle in wild format!!!

Coming back to this week's BATTLE MAGE SECRETS weekly challenge, we have Little League as battle theme this week and it's always exciting to battle with 4 MANA cards as I feel it's more challenging and if we use the little monsters wisely, we can have more wins if not 100% win rate!!!!

Little League, as the name suggests, only allows the monsters with 4 or less MANA as MANA cost of the monsters and so far, I found earth and death splinters as good options considering some good front monsters and some more rewarding disguised monsters which can be good options to use in Little League battles.

Apart from Little League, there were couple of other rule sets viz. Silenced Summoners and Rise Of the Commons and there was a MANA cap of 25 including the cost of summoner.

Considering the MANA cap and the rule sets, I used the below set of monsters with Riftwing as front monster.

Lineup:

1. Riftwing:

I felt this as a good option in little league battles because of it's backfire, headwinds, scavenger and flying abilities which makes it hard to attack it and scavenger means, it keeps getting a health every time a monster from both sides dies.

2. Shadow Snitch:

With affliction as One of the abilities and its 3 melee attack and 4 speed makes it a must use reach ability monster.

This and Dark Ferryman were the 2 vital monsters from my lineup as those 2 accounted for more monsters on the other side.

3. Venari Bonesmith:

Life Leech and poison makes it a good monster for the little league battles and 4 speed is also not bad for a 4 MANA cost monster.

4. Life Sapper:

Just like venari Bonesmith, this too blossoms with life leech and keeps it's health growing with each time it attacks.

5. Soul Strangler:

As I said above, this was instrumental with it's 4 ranged attack for a MANA cost of just 3 and I think, if I hadn't used this, I would have ended on losing side.

6. Dark Ferryman:

Dark Ferryman played a nice role in this win with it's 2 ranged attack and it's ability of cripple also helped in reducing the health of the monsters it attacked.
