Splinterlands - BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge - Theme: Rise of Commons

Hello Friends,

I hope you are all set for the Christmas and also enjoying the Splinterlands battles with Land is already live and I hope you are having nice rewards from the lands.

While I have been away from blogging on Hive, I have been playing the Splinterlands battles as and when I get a chance and I can confirm that, the battles are much more harder to win now compared to earlier.

Let's get to the reason of this blog, i.e the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS weekly challenge with theme being Rise of Commons

Rise of Commons cuts the epic and Legendary monsters from being used in battles enabling only common and rare monsters available for the battle usage.

Battle and Lineup:

This battle had a 21 MANA cap with Noxious Fumes (poisoning on all the monsters from First round itself) and Aim True being the other 2 rule sets apart from Rise of Commons for this battle and the lineup I used keeping in mind about the Noxious Fumes ruleset was the usage of Scarred LLama Mage as summoner along with monsters as below:

Lineup:

1. Chaos Agent:

Just in an act of protecting the Pelacor Mercenary from getting exposed early, used this at front and this worked well to avoid those initial few attacks on the Pelacor Mercenary.

2. Pelacor Merecenary:

This was used because of it's self healing ability along with it's huge health and speed.

3. Gelatinous Cube:

Lastly, used the Gelatinous Cube and with last standing enabled with Scarred Llama Mage, I felt this will be a good option with it's high health and healing ability and also not to forget the scavenger ability it has.

With that lineup, I was confident of winning the battle and as expected, I won that with last standing Gelatinous Cube able to survive all the attacks and poisoning to make me victorious!!!!
