Becareful When Adding Contract Adress For A Token

In the Past i have done a little mistake that cost me lose $100. I Bought a fake token that was impossible to sell. It happened because of my careless attitude. Actually i wanted to buy Metamon token that is connected with $Raca.

Metamon is listed on Pancakeswap so i was required its contract address to purchase it. I opened twitter and searched Metamon where i came across a fake account with a lot of follwers , it was an impersonater who was having Fake Contract of Metamon in the Profiles.

I copied contract from there because i didnt dig at that time. In hurry i pasted that fake address in Pancakeswap and Bought fake Metamon worth $100. I didn't realized what i have done untill i tried to sell them. When i wanted to sell them i came to know that its fake.

I was surely disappointed , it was a negligence on my part. Actually i should had get the contract through verified sources. It Was my first mistake of this kind. Now i am very careful in such matters.

The best way to get the right contract address is through coingecko or coinmarketcap. As we all know that those are trusted websites. Dont go on google and search random, if you do, you will pay for it just like i did. Well i am very careful now whenever i interact with crypto transactions. You too make sure to be not a victim of such scams.
