Omicron Situation in Pakistan

In Pakistan number of Omicron reported cases are increasing day by day. The Situation is getting Worse each day.

Today In Different cities Twenty three people died due to Omicron virus according to a news source. While Yesterday the number of died people was fifteen. This is an alarming Situation.

On the other hand, Government officials said in a news conference that its impossible to apply full lockdown because the economy cannot bear this.

It is decided to ban weddings and all other gatherings in those cities having infection rate higher than 10 %.

In Mosques only vaccinated people are allowed to offer Prayer. Government also advised that children and Old age people should offer Prayer in their houses. It strictly advised to follow SOPs.

Authorities also reduced Crowd to 25% for PSL matches that will be played in Karachi. Rest of the fans will have to watch PSL from their house, Which is a good decision by the Government as there is nothing important than health.

As a responsible citizen its our duty to take preventive measures and keep ourself safe from the virus. I hope we will get rid of this Virus soon.
