The Bitter Side of Being a Die Hard Fan
What is this bad feeling of supporting something, like a team, when you are a die hard fan? I never clown on people for what they support, but when a team I like wins, I check people's reactions just to see the joy, and it makes my whole day happy. That is the quiet joy of being a fan, small moments that carry you through the day.

Yesterday T1 lost to AG2, and it was quite a big upset. T1 is one of the legendary teams in esports, a team that built its name on being clutch under pressure, but they have never taken an upset this size before. It hurt much more because I thought this team was untouchable, and despite that belief, I still neglected everything just to watch MSI, staying up and following every game like it truly mattered.
Although I love the game itself, supporting a team you love is night and day compared to just watching for fun. When your team loses big, the whole interest in the tournament can go down with it, and you end up just keeping up out of habit rather than excitement. It is a lesson to be learned, that loving the game should come first, and the results of one team should not decide how much you enjoy watching.
