I have many memorable moments in my life, full of joy, success, and also some not-so-good moments, but they all teach us something because we can learn from everything, good or bad.

This memorable moment for me has been one of the most significant because it's related to the double earthquake that struck Venezuela. In my city, the consequences of that double earthquake were very minor, with few victims. My family and loved ones are safe. Despite being very close to the epicenter, there wasn't much damage or many deaths. We're still on alert, and rescue and reconstruction efforts continue.

In the video, you can see some of the damage caused to the school building where I work. I was only able to film in the least affected areas because we don't have access to the top floor of the building, where the infrastructure suffered serious damage.

We thank God, life, time, and nature that the double earthquake struck on a holiday when many students were at home. Some school buildings in Venezuela have three or even five stories; in our case, we have three. The story would have been very different if those students had been in school.

This June 24th will be etched in the memory of many as a memorable and impactful day for many Venezuelans, especially for those who lost more than just material possessions.

영상에서 제가 일하는 학교 건물이 지진으로 인해 피해를 입은 모습을 보실 수 있습니다. 건물 최상층은 기반 시설이 심각하게 파손되어 접근할 수 없었기 때문에 피해가 가장 적은 지역에서만 촬영할 수 있었습니다.

다행히 두 차례의 지진이 많은 학생들이 집에 있던 휴일에 발생했습니다. 베네수엘라의 학교 건물 중에는 3층이나 5층짜리 건물도 있지만, 저희 학교는 3층짜리입니다. 만약 학생들이 학교에 있었다면 상황은 완전히 달랐을 것입니다.

6월 24일은 많은 베네수엘라 사람들에게, 특히 물질적인 것 이상의 것을 잃은 사람들에게는 잊을 수 없고 큰 영향을 미친 날로 기억될 것입니다.
