🌿 The green gold along our paths: The beauty and properties of Aloe Vera, right out on the street[Eng-Spn]
Hello, Hive friends! 💛
I hope you are all doing wonderfully. Today, in addition to showing you a beautiful type of plant, I want to share a brief reflection on the little things in life and the meaning they hold. Sometimes, we move so quickly through our daily routines that we forget to pause and observe the small gifts nature offers us. That is why I want to share a very special discovery that brought a smile to my face on my way to work.
I have passed by this spot many times, yet I had never taken a photo of this magnificent plant—in truth, I had never even stopped to look at it or truly take it in. Just look at how beautiful it is! Today, I noticed it and was left in awe of such beauty.
A mandatory stop to admire nature
Right on the street corner, the neighbors have carefully cultivated and tended to this Aloe vera plant. Seeing those beautiful yellow blossoms out in the open, in a public space, filled me with a deep sense of admiration and peace.
In our beloved Venezuela, Aloe vera is much more than just an urban decoration; It is a plant highly valued and respected for its great medicinal, aesthetic, and traditional significance. How many times have we turned to it to soothe a burn, refresh the skin, alleviate some ailment, or simply to beautify the entrance to our homes? In fact, I have one here at my house that has been by my side for 10 years. 🌿 A whole lifetime.
A bit of science: Taxonomy and interesting facts about Aloe
To enrich this green journey, I did some research into its origin and botanical classification. Here are a few fascinating facts:
- Scientific name: Aloe (also known as sábila or acíbar in Spanish).
- Current family: It belongs to the Xanthorrhoeaceae family (according to modern phylogenetic classifications such as APG III, 2009, which reclassified the former Asphodelaceae family). In older systems, such as the 1981 Cronquist system, it was classified within the Liliaceae family.
- Diversity: There are around 525 accepted species out of more than 1,000 described worldwide.
- Origin: It is a succulent plant native primarily to arid and tropical regions.
Interesting fact: My neighbors in the community do an excellent job pruning and caring for it, showing that a love for nature is contagious and helps beautify our streets. ---

Español ¡Hola, amigos de Hive! 💛

Happy Sunday.
That’s great! This is my workplace. Around the corner, there’s a garden; the cleaning staff have done a fantastic job there. There’s also some Aloe Vera—we have some at home, too. It’s really useful, especially for medicinal purposes. Best regards! :d !HUG

I knew from the start that this is aloe but I never saw that plant with that size in real life. Really looks great and his medical properties are awesome.
I once bought cream with aloe for skin regeneration. My face was after deep cleaning and I only needed like few days to regenerate my face skin!! After that my skin was refreshed and looks better than ever before! 🥰
Thank you for sharing your pictures and for a lot of info about aloe! 🤗😍
Hi friend, thanks for stopping by! I’m glad that @rozioo’s game helped us get to know each other. I just voted for you, and I’ll be back again soon to collect my flowers—hehe! @rozioo, thanks for the flowers and for watering my garden!

Yeah I love that idea to discover people! Not only by leaderboard score but by promoted posts in town.
We can grow together like your plants in garden! 🥰💛
It's complicated; I need a VPN on my phone, and my phone is in intensive care, but I'll try as soon as I can.
Ohh I see but I know that Rozioo made best score playing from pc.
I know that not everyone have pc but what else I can say.
Maybe there need to be more simple activities we will see. 🫠

Hey friend, what a great post! Aloe vera is a blessing; they say it's the only resilient plant. It's good for radiation, and very good for gastritis problems, as well as skin and head problems.
