Saturday turned out just above break even with good bets in the Westerlo match but 2 poor bets in the match from Standard against Cercle. The most weight by far however is on the match today between Antwerp and Union which possibly could decide the championship.

Antwerp vs Union

If Antwerp take the win today, they are the champion, if Union Win they have everything in their own hand in the last week if they take at least a draw at home against Club Brugge in the last week regardless of the result of Antwerp. A draw still leaves everything open giving Antwerp a final match where they can for sure be the Champion if they win that. So the main question for today is how both these teams will approach this match. Union coach Geraerts already stated that "not losing" is not a bad option for this match. Pretty much everyone assumes Antwerp will be able to finish it at home in this historic match where fans for sure will be loud. I'm however not sold on this scenario as Antwerp is the team where paralyzing stress factor will be a lot higher and their form in their last couple of matches was not the best. They also played some matches where they weren't really willing to play and generally they have been a team with more focus on the defensive end knowing they have the quality in offense to finish one of the chances that get. Union has been in a good form and have experience with the situation from last season. A similar match was played in the cup semi-final where it was a very cautious match and I don't expect any of the teams to go full force ahead taking unneeded risks. I do somewhat expect a study round with a will to go forward without taking risk and the defense to be stronger than the offense. One of the teams scoring a goal might break things open but at the same time, both have the quality to make a match dead if needed. In case a team takes the lead, I will likely go for the corners handicap of the team that is behind. I have been backing the 1H under in Antwerp matches and will stick to this idea for this game. I took 0.3 units on 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.187 along with 0.186 units on 1st Half Under 0.75 @ 2.803 and 0.049 units Antwerp 1st Half Team Total Under 0.5 @ 1.933. I will as always reduce the exposure if it stays 0-0 for some time. I also took 0.165 unit on Union +0.5 @ 1.767 which I might increase upon if it goes to 1.8+, and 0.1 unit on Under 2.75 @ 1.897. Finally I also took a tiny 0.035 unit gamble on Correct Score 0-0 @ 13.700

Club Brugge vs Racing Genk

There is not much to say about this match before the result of the Antwerp vs Union Match is known. Only if that ended in a draw, there is still a chance for Genk to fight for the championship in the final week. That is if they also manage to win against Club Brugge. Genk hasn't been as good as during the season and mostly get too many goals against lately. They however do have quality and the fear to fail should be totally gone for this match. Club Brugge has many injured players and will be without Lang. They did put up good performances last week against Antwerp and the week before only in the 1st half. So they are still going for it even though the motivational gap should be quite big in case Genk really needs the win. If Antwerp vs Union ends in a draw, I will most likely take Genk + corners handicap as this gives a lot of reasons for them to go forward more than Club Brugge. For now, No Pre-Game Bets
