It was not my best on friday with a couple of losing bets chasing the under causing me to lose just over half a unit. Still plenty of matches to go over the weekend but I need to be more cautious again from here on out.
Club Brugge vs Cercle Brugge
Club Brugge right now is still struggling despite the win in the Conference league. Their defense is not flawless and the striker position is a problem while not all players on the midfield are in their best form. I'm still convinced that the quality is there though and they have the capability to at any time play an excellent match totally outplaying most teams in the Belgian League. Cercle is a team with potential but some missings last week really had them underperforming. Ravych is still injured while Somers is questionable. Especially Somers was important last season in the match against Club Brugge were the team really gave everything 90 minutes. I do expect the intensity from Cercle Brugge but I'm nowhere near as sure that they will be able to bring the quality. Club Brugge are coming of an European match and right now still remain a big question mark as it could be good or again really bad. It's not something I'm gambling on so

Genk vs OH Leuven
Genk in recent matches managed to easily win against weaker teams with a 0-3 against kortrijk and 4-0 against Mechelen. the match today against OHL I rate similarly. OHL lost last week against Westerlo who mainly defended and scored on the counter and it looks like the coach change shock effect is already over. Normally this should be a match where OHL tries to defend and come out on the counters. Genk did have a mid-week travel playing a 1-1 draw which always has some kind of influence. Lines are set too high for me to consider taking Genk Pre-Game so I'm staying away.

AA Gent vs Anderlecht
This is one of those matches where my logic says to take Anderlecht as the +0.5 underdog since they have impressed in the last couple of matches living up to the player quality they have in their team along with a good form while Gent had an away mid-week European match in Iceland which always is a factor. However, something in me feels like AA Gent will come out with very high focus and motivation to make a statement in this match. Vertonggen is questionable and unsure to play which likely is a big part of the odds since they might be vulnerable defensively against Gent. I see either a tactical chess game or a wide open fun match with plenty of goals which likely will become clear early on in the match. Also here

Union SG vs Kv Kortrijk
Union in the Europa League for the 2nd time this season has a complete off day losting 3-0 against LASK. Last time this was away against Mechelen in the league losing 4-0. Aside from those performances though they have been excellent so to say that this is the end and the downtrend will begin makes no sense yet. Kortrijk remains one of the weakest teams in the league and they are back in last place. Union is still the obvious favorite but it's hard to argue with a -2 handicap while it feels way too much like a hero bet gamble to side with Kortrijk.
