Not the best start of the week so far as I'm down close to 0.9 units on the cup matches and the Friday match combined. I also kind of felt my focus dropping yesterday so I'm doubling down to get that back. I'm still above my expected profit on the season and am trying to get my volume up a bit so I hope this small dip doesn't last. 3 Matches on Saturday...
Cercle Brugge vs Standard
Cercle Brugge is 2nd last in the league and haven't won in a while also getting eliminated in the cup at home against Gent. They haven't actually played bad and often like today were the favorite but fail to score and always give something away which makes the bad streak last. I always avoid betting on teams who are in a bad streak and the fact that they have been favorites in their matches made this not that difficult to do. Today against Standard they again are the clear favorite and it kind of feels like today might be the day when they break the bad streak. The visitors are 8th in the league which is a small miracle and they did get eliminated in the cup away against Dender. Based n the last 4 weeks I rate them as the team with the poorest overall performances even though they only lost once. I do expect a match where Cercle takes the initiative going forward and Standard is happy to defend and lure on the counters. Cercle created 10 corners against AA Gent and I also expect them to create corners against Standard similar to how Stvv at home won those against them with 9-1 a couple weeks ago. Solcasino.io and will be looking to hopefully add to this with my regular stakes in-game. I do see a victory for Cercle but I just can't get myself to bet the -0.5 line a Standard cal be a team who does well in matches where they can crawl back and strike on the counter.
Union vs AA Gent
Union won deserved in the cup even though it took quite long against a well organised Zulte. They more or less played their A-Squad and it remains the question if they will have any rotation now with an eye on the Tuesday Champions League match. In that regard, it's hard to make a proper prediction or place any bets right now. AA Gent managed to qualfy in the cup with a 1-3 win against Cercle but that mainly was thanks to Cercle instead of their own achievement. They have otherwise been in somewhat of a dip not reaching a high level escpecially at home with multiple results that saw them take many goals. Union at home remains purely by the numbers a powerhouse as they covered all 7 of their handicaps which usually as set quite high there. They are also the best overall 1st half team and are ranked 2nd in the home 1st half standings while AA Gent is 2nd last in the away 1H standings. Union on the 1st half is what I look at the most at the moment. I don't see AA Gent capable of locking things down and coming out on the counters which now feels like the best strategy to beat union who haven't looked that good generally compared to previous years and despite taking the points at home.

Stvv vs Club Brugge
Stvv has been the revelation this season in 4th spot just 2 points away from Club Brugge. They did get elminated in the Cup away against Antwerp after extre time and many goals on both sides. They only really switched their goalkeeper and fatigue with smaller teams can certainly be an issue. Club Brugge remains in a situation where they just don't play good enough but still win their matches which is what they did against OHL in the cup playing their A-Squad. Fatigue for them is an issue and I don't think they are jumping to play on an artificial pitch today with an eye also on an upcoming Champions League match. I'm not comfortable betting Brugge but also not opposing them. The fatigue and rotation questions for me are too big to make any calls pre-game so I will leave betting for in-game.
