Looking For Hive Bloggers To Upvote...
The Way I See Hive.
This might not be a popular opinion, but I see Hive running on a model that is full of obvious flaws and only really partially works in most cases for a very niche core audience (like myself) who stick around. The entire upvote earnings model creates a dynamic where most of the content is only there for the earnings, and what is on the trending page has nothing to do with the best or most liked content and in most cases does not interest anyone outside (or even inside) the ecosystem.
Content discovery aslo isn't the best as curators basically need to plow through a ton of garbage in the hope to find something good. The concept of someone buying Hive and powering it up just to curate and get some rewards while they most of the time are getting dumped on by 'content creators' who earn and HBD which keeps inflating the supply like crazy, makes zero sense.
This said, I do really like what Hive brings for people who genuinely want to have a blog offering reliable free & immutable hosting with no advertisements, along with something of an audience and a way to get some earnings. It allows to connect to like-minded people and I've managed to make a lot of friends over the year, which are all things that help keep me here.
Want a Vote?
All this said, I know the struggle that comes with having a genuine Hive blog on a rather niche subject which isn't just jumping on the communities or challenges that get the upvotes. I also believe that smaller systematic upvotes are more valuable in the long run compared to having to hope for the occasional whale or curation group vote which oftentime require you to bend your content toward them.
I'm looking for accounts to put on my auto-upvote list while I have no time or willpower to start looking for them manually day-by-day. So I'm making this post in the hope to find some users who point me in the right direction or apply for themseles to be on there...
What I'm Looking For...
Basically, I'm looking for users who have a high chance of still being here active in 5-10 years and retain a good KE-Ratio. These are some of the things that I'm looking for...A Genuine Blog: It doesn't matter what type of content you bring or topic you write about, as long as it's genuine, consistent, and with some effort put into it. I'm not looking for the next account that just yaps about Hive all the time because that gets most engagement and upvotes. Nobody who only posts or joins challenges just because there are some guaranteed curation group upvotes behind them. Simply someone who genuinely wants to have a blog about things they are passionate about and which they enjoy making (the way it should be).
Maximum 1 Daily Post: The reality is that on Hive, a 1-post-a-day routine is one of the most rewarding things, especially since most votes are automated. In reality, it is hard to constantly make 1 post a day and keep it fresh and interesting without it looking like 'cheap content' aimed mostly toward getting the upvotes. So I'm mostly looking for users who have somewhere between 1 post a week and 1 post a day.
New User Requirements: I'm looking for accounts that have been active on Hive for at least 1 full month already, and managed to get at least 10 to 20 people to press the follow button. I also won't support anyone who hasn't even been here for a year and is not building their stake but instead are already cashing out some earnings.
Older User Requirements: For those who have been here for longer, there is pretty much no excuse right now at the current Hive price to have a KE-Ratio that is much above 1. Also, I'm mainly looking for users who are underrewarded so the ones where the average total daily post payout is below 10-20x the value of their own upvote value.

What Can Be Expected!
Basically, I'm looking to support people here on Hive that meet the above requirements with part of the voting that I have adding them to my auto-upvotes list. Nothing is guaranteed, but ideally, I'm able to get a list of accounts that are good for Hive and deserve some systematic support while they are building their blog and following. It would be nice to have users apply or for some suggestions to be given for me to have a look at. I will add a link to this post also in all of my future posts so it gets a bit of continued exposure. I hope to be able to make an update next month and hopefully inspire others similar to how I'm inspired by users like @slobberchops who have a more advanced initiative like this (Link)

At first, I could not grasp the fact that you've been here since 2016 with a fairly low overall account value, as your posts seem to get some ok upvotes. Your KE-Ratio is great though, so I guess it mostly comes from the price of Hive that got hammered down so much over the years, which sucks for those who were willing to hold on to it.

I've been mostly focused on the sports side of things lately with trying to keep sportsblocks moving forward.
I don't expect upvotes from anybody but it's always nice to be considered. It's hard at the moment to find the best or most interesting content but the time isn't there that I used to have for finding it and interacting with new people.

I think Hive really would be helped to attract new people if there were more ways or initiatives that 'guarantee' a certain amount of smaller upvotes in a way that can't be exploited. I remember in the past way back in the steemit days that it was possible to summon a minnowsupport upvote in the discord or how there were the busy.org upvotes based on the total HP of the people who followed you
Right now, it feels like new users are just pushed toward bending their content toward what gets supported by curation groups or challenges as that is the main way to get upvotes instead of actually making a blog with some passion behind it.
At the same time, its also quite nice to see the group of users who have been here since 2016-2017 and are sticking to posting content here which kind of shows that Hive is doing something right. Some core issues like content discovery & actually getting what's interesting to outside people who check Hive on top of trending really need to be fixed but it's hard to do without real leadership.
Thanks for the vote of confidence cryptoreforma, :-) I have also been on a quest to try and clean out my voting... ive gone the other way though, and checked people on my follow list and removed people that i decided were grifters. and turned OFF autovotes. Then every morning i upvote posts that are new on my friends list. I wish i had slobberchops lovely program that checks the account lol.
I kept a few people on the list that are huge extractors just so i can keep an eye on the current bot trends. lol.

It's indeed hard to easily see who is "good or bad" to Hive when giving out upvotes. At times, it feels like you can't just browse the site and upvote what looks good as you first have to do an entire investigation. Hive really should replace the current broken 'reputation system' with one that actually is reliable.

One of the accounts that i follow has a KE score of SEVENTEEN yes 17. And i was voting this account for years as they were commenting on every post i did.. quite dutifully. They seemed genuine. I upvoted their comments 100% every time as i was new-ish and i LIKED comments. so to test.... i kept REPLYING to the comments and showing engagement and thanks, but stopped UPVOTING the comments... and low and behold the comments stopped suddenly and completely. :-)
Now sometimes i do and sometimes i dont upvote comments on my blog it depends on how much vote power i have left.
i LOVE KE score. but that needs to be blended with some of the newer data. A new score should be born that is KE, recency of post. upvote quality, quality of post somehow and comment engagement some how... Or we just need to create our own system as i know many people have done. I expect that would be the easiest as everyone has different tolerance levels.

I think you would do better if you just followed users and then upvoted users in your feed.
An even better way to curate is to upvote people in communities or to upvote tags taht you support.
A tribe is community that issued a token. If there is a tribe that you want to support you can purchase their tokens on HIVE Engine; you can then upvote posts that use the tribal keywords or their community account.
Actually supporting something would have a more positive impact on hive than just auto voting accounts.
This platform is already suffering enough from voting bots.

The problem is that feeds quickly get filled with garbage content that is just there to get upvotes. To get those out, I only would have to follow the few accounts who systematically bring good quality content that also interests me and that I actually want to take the time to read, or the people here I connect to and have become friends. Both those are in the auto-upvote list anyway.
The way I see it, Auto-Upvotes is what is helping Hive way more than it is harming it, similar to how in Splinterlands people running a bot to play for them is keeping it alive. The reality is that the time requirement to do everything manually is not realistic, at least not with the level of quality of content & gameplay right now.
If Hive was full of addictive content (like many other social media) & Splinterlands was a super addictive game that people want to play 24/7, the manual curation and manual play would make sense. This is simply not the case.
If Youtube had a hive-like upvote system, I would be 100% manual curation and come short in voting power. Manual curation on Hive is pure torture and a complete waste of time.
You have complete control over your personal feed. Follow the people you like. Unfollow people who post garbage content.
The problem with autovoting is that an account that you thought was quality might turn out to be garbage and they would get your autovotes until you notice the transition.

I thought that @emmanuel50 fits your requirements. He has been on Hive since 2025 and is growing his stake instead of powering down. But then I checked and it seems that he sometimes posts twice a day.
Maybe I could fit as well? I mostly make posts about my art. Those posts often have 1 or 2 photos of my current pieces and maybe a few sentences describing my progress. So I am not sure if that counts as high enough quality. Also my current art piece is about Hive and I will still have at least 1 post about it in the future. So maybe that counts as talking about Hive all the time. I also make some long form posts as well. Usually they are about games I am playing. My KE is decent (0.43) and I plan to be here till either I will die or Hive stops working. I assume that neither of these things will happen in the next 5-10 years.😛
that being said this rule may be a problem and disqualify me. Some of my posts(mostly gaming posts) earn a few dollars so they could push my average rewards above your desired averages.

Everyone have their requirements and I respect that you have your own.
For me KE is not that much important when I curate other people content I looking too for their assets in games like Splinterlands, Golem Overlord, RisingStar or any other games and of course tribe tokens as well.
For now my KE is like 5+ right now but I have assets and tokens worth much more than I ever earned from blogging. I know that for many KE is really important factor and it could be decing thing with throwing votes. For me engagement is important too. If I see that someone making only posts and not make any comments for me is low effort really. Many authors like to just making post without talking with other people to know them better.
I agree with you that everyone should have their own criteria especially when you want to give autovotes which means you not check author content.
Ohh I forgot about main thing. My friend with me made a contest some time ago to introduce yourself once again on hive and we want hear from participiants who they invited to hive? That's nice to hear that too :)
So far I was able to encourage some of my old hive friends to back to the plaform - both powered their hive.

KE certainly doesn't say everything, and I would say that building something that people use or bringing in a lot of new users count a lot more. I'm not quite sure if having assets in projects on Hive really count toward it, I have quite some Splinterlands assets myself but see them as completely different. Also, I think incoming delegations should count toward KE Ratio. In the end, it's by no means a perfect indicator but I guess it's the best thing we have right now.

Nice to see some dedicated curation, If I had the skills I would make something like that for myself as now with pure auto-votes it's hard to exclude pure 'filler posts'. I added you to the list 👍

Well,I think I am proof it is absolutely doable to publish more than one high-quality post per day. I have been publishing programming tutorials on Steem - later Hive - since 2017 (initially Python, more recently various languages), because I have been preparing for quite some time on my forthcoming learning platform, which "AI" more or less ruined completely as many people and their grandpa can now "vibecode" anything without a need to learn programming themselves and as such I decided to publish a very large (yet slightly altered) subset of my own self-written curriculum on my Hive blog.
Learning paths covered so far: Python, Zig, Rust, JavaScript, Go (just started today) and previously "Learn AI" (not how to use LLMs but how to train your own models etc) and "Learn Ethical Hacking" (I kept it at easy mode on that one).

I know it sounds a bit "shameless" but I do want to give myself a shot at this, whether or not I make it to the list.
Been around since 2021, and have been genuinely blogging for a while, apart from some weeks where I was on vacation. I write about Splinterlands, some personal reflections, my travels, sometimes about food as well. You can visit my blog to see.
My KE ratio is currently 1.40, not the most ideal I know, but that's how it currently is.
