This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

It does very much feel like I'm in a steady continued uptrend during these playoffs pretty much avoiding spots where I get hit while having enough smaller good bets to still make enough profit. I'm also enjoying the playoffs so far and looking forward to the matches which in the past was often different as good weather combined with it having been a long season dropped my focus and enjoyment.

So pretty much all is well right now and I aim to continue like this for 8 more weeks.

I did end up having 3 Highlighted pre-game bets in the previews which went 2.5W-0L-0.5P¨so excellent result on those and all of them also were actual big value winning clear and easily. This brings these pre-game bets now at +8.81% ROI on 65 of them this season.

Regular Season 2023-2024 Personal Betting Chart

I'm highly running above the expected value so far in these playoffs. However, the main issue overall this season remains that I'm just unable to really get the volume in. While the overall +2.17% I'm currently at on the season is not horrible, the total 120.541 units stakes is just not high enough. I did an attempt to really change that at the start of the season which really backfired having me work my way up again with much lower stakes. Doing just 2.17% ROI also doesn't by any means justify getting in higher stakes which often come with lower average odds as I'm betting them down. So overall it's a tricky situation and unless I really increase my edge and overall confidence, it will remain a really fun side hustle that won't make me escape the system.
