Splinterlands | Explosive Weaponry Battle Challenge

Another Game Rule for the Share Your Battle Challenge which is also called the Battle Mage Secrets for Splinterlands continues to follow. This is the Rule to match Yodin where all monsters get the blast ability!

What I wrote about this Game Rule the last time around was:

What I would add to this is that there clearly has been a pattern where devs need sales so they print a strong card that turns out to be overpowered and it's followed after some time by a game rule or a new cards that counters this to kind of fix what was broken to do it all over again some time later. This has introduced some serious power creep in the game especially with the weapons training ability which was buffed and the Rebellion Promo Card Grimbardian Smith which at some point went for 7$+ for a Rare card which will soon be somewhat countered with a card like Venka The Vile.

This pattern along with the recent Ranked and Tournament Pay2Win increase is what currently keeps me from buying any more cards in the game just continuing to play with what I have looking for an exit in case there would be a new hype cycle. However, I'm seriously start to doubt that this will come given the fact that earnings have been nerfed to the ground while it doesn't look like a top tier exchange listing will come anytime soon.

The battle I played was a pure 1-rule Explosive Weaponry game and I pretty much misplayed it against a Max Level Player

It is pretty much a must in the game rule where all monsters get blast to play a monster in 2nd place with Reflection Shield. For me this was the 2-Mana Venator Kinjo placed behind the Chain Golem I put as a tank instead of The Kraken given it was cheaper and also got protection against Magic Damage. The Deeplurker in this game rule is a must-play card. I made the mistake of playing 3 heal cards with the Tortisian Chief, Crustacean King, & the Merdaali Guardian as I usually play the Kraken which reduces the risk of being hit hard by Sneak damage.

However, I still managed to win quite comfortably as my opponent (or the bot of my opponent most likely) played only 1 sneak card and 3 Magic attack cards which didn't manage to break my tank/
