Butter-Melon or Water-Nut??

Hey everyone, so what on Earth is this? Who knows? Even me, nothing like I HAVE EVER SEEN BEFORE. So what is it then Craig?

A question I have been asking myself for a week now and then it dawned upon me...

What on earth will a Watermelon Crossed with a Butternut taste like? I am guessing very sweet, juicy and tender, whether one is to cook or fridge it remains to be seen, I shall keep you all posted!

Cross pollination happened last year and I didnt even know it. So what did I plant? Last year Tahitian butternut as well as Watermelons...

As usual I harvested seeds and planted next season as I did this year... And to my utter dismay and surprise this happened!

So the question simply remains, to cook it or to put it in the fridge? Maybe Ill try both, haha!
