Cycling Trip to Hai Van Pass
Do you enjoy participating in sports? How satisfied are you with it? I estimate that you will be removed and that you will learn more new and interesting facts about your beloved sports. When the geographical and natural conditions are right, each sport has its unique features and applicability.
Cycling is my favorite subject outside of climbing, rowing, jogging, and wading. Where I reside, these are popular sports. When I initially learned about this sport, I used to cycle alone around the sea and the Son Tra peninsula. In comparison to other places in Vietnam's territory, I used to tell players that "Da Nang is a cycling heaven" compared to other parts of Vietnam's territory.
It may not have the most beautiful roads, but it does have many gorgeous routes with mountains, rivers, and seas, and it connects to two popular tourist destinations, Hue Citadel and Hoi An Ancient Town. Today I will introduce Hai Van Quan (coordinates 16.189972886356905 ) One of Vietnam's four most picturesque passes, known as the "four big peaks." And I'm fortunate to have a job that allows me to be near to it.
The French created Hai Van Pass during the colonial period in the Bach Ma mountain range, which is part of the spectacular Truong Son mountain range, which was famous throughout the Vietnam war. The sole road connecting the north and south is the pass road, which is more than 21 kilometers long.
Having a winding road with dangerous twists that runs along the slope with the sea is both a wonderful challenge for motorists and an incredible thrill for cyclists and motorbike riders. The road from the pass from Hai Van mountain has become safer as a result of the restoration and renovation to Da Nang.
So cycling activities are stronger in Da Nang than in Hue thanks to the infrastructure. better floors and closer distances.
The pass from Da Nang to the peak is almost 10 kilometers long and has an average slope of 10 degrees, making it acceptable for Vietnamese travelers. This location has also been chosen numerous times for long-distance racing and mountain climbing competitions, ranging from amateur to professional levels. A very lovely bay sits next to the lush and chilly mountains.
It's easy to see why athletes and individuals enjoy sporting activities here when they can enjoy the quiet nature and gorgeous sunrise on the opposite side of the Son Tra peninsula.
Because the weather at the top of the peak is often overcast depending on the season, it is also known locally as the Cloud Pass. The sensation of going from the foot of the pass to the summit of the mountain, which is more than 500 meters above sea level, in the cold fog, as if experiencing two seasons in half an hour, will leave you with an unforgettable day there.
On the top of the pass, there are architectural monuments of blockhouses, watchtowers, remnants of war waiting for tourists, cyclists, and backpackers to check-in and enjoy. The feeling of climbing the mountain tired when reaching the destination, making a cup of iced milk coffee watching the clouds and mountains makes you more alert and energetic.
My biking group usually rides here on Saturdays and Sundays. We'll be cycling together, conversing, laughing, and taking in the landscape, and we'll stop for brunch halfway down the pass after drinking coffee at the top.
Suoi Chanh, a tiny neighborhood restaurant, will be open, serving excellent meals including salted pepper lemon chicken, grilled salt and pepper, sticky rice, and vermicelli.
This is probably our favorite part of the week, refueling and sharing a nice beer with everyone after a long week of work and getting to know everyone. I was one of the team's younger members, and everyone adored me for always entertaining, laughing, and shooting pictures.
We stick together not only on bicycles, but also as a family because everyone feels that love after a week of spending wonderful days together, practicing sports, and sharing the joys of life. as close as family, and it inspires us to come up with fresh and breathtaking weekly places, such as this Hai Van pass.
If you plan on visiting the beach city of Da Nang, as well as other well-known destinations, hire a bicycle or contact bicycle organizations on Facebook for assistance. Explore these incredible paths on your own or with others. Cycling, jogging, and climbing, I believe, are the only ways to appreciate its splendor.

Mỗi môn thể thao có tính chất đặc trưng riêng và thích hợp khi điều kiện địa lí,tự nhiên phù hợp. Với tôi ngoài leo núi,chèo sup,chạy bộ, bơi lội còn có môn tôi yêu thích nhất là đạp xe . Là những môn thể thao phổ biến nơi tôi đang sinh sống. Nhớ những ngày đầu tiên biết đến bộ môn này tôi chỉ đạp một mình dạo quanh đường biển và bán đảo Sơn Trà. Khi gặp những người đàn anh chơi nhiều năm có nói với tôi:"Đà Nẵng là thiên đường đạp xe" so với những nơi khác trên cùng lãnh thổ Việt Nam. Nó có thể không sở hữu cung đường đẹp nhất nhưng lại sở hữu rất nhiều cung đường đẹp đa dạng có núi,có sông ,có biển và kết nối với hai điểm du lịch nổi tiêng khác xung quanh như Kinh thành Huế vag Phố cổ Hội an. Hôm nay tôi sẽ giới thiệu một cung đường đèo tuyệt đẹp là Hải Vân Quan, được mệnh danh là " tứ đại đỉnh đèo" một trong bốn cung đường đèo đẹp nhất Việt Nam. Và tôi may mắn khi làm việc và ở gần với nó.
Đèo Hải Vân được người Pháp xây dựng trong thời kì thuộc địa, nằm trong dãy núi Bạch Mã và thuộc một phần dãy Trường Sơn hùng vĩ nổi tiếng trong chiến tranh Việt Nam. Cung đường đèo dài tổng cộng hơn 21km là con đường duy nhất nối liền hai miền Nam Bắc. Sở hữu cung đường quanh co gấp khúc và những khúc cua nguy hiểm chạy men sườn núi với biển vừa là thử thách lớn cho phương tiện đi lại và niềm vui phấn khích cho các hoạt động đạp xe và xe máy. Ngày nay sau những lần trùng tu sửa chữa con đường đã trở nên an toàn hơn từ đoạn đường đèo từ đỉnh Hải vân về phía Đà Nẵng nên các hoạt động về xe đạp phát triển mạnh hơn ở Đà Nẵng so với Huế nhờ cơ sở hạ tầng tốt hơn và khoảng cách gần hơn.
Đường đèo từ Đà Nẵng lên tới đỉnh đèo dài gần 10km độ dốc trung bình 10° là vừa sức với thể chất của người Việt Nam. Nơi đây cũng rất nhiều lần được chọn cho các giải đua đường dài và leo núi chinh phục từ các giải phong trào đến chuyên nghiệp. Bên cạnh rừng núi xanh ngắt và mát lạnh là vịnh biển đẹp tuyệt vời. Không khó hiểu khi các vận động viên và người dân ưa thích hoạt động thể thao ở đây khi có cơ hội thưởng thức phong cảnh yên bình và bình minh tuyệt đẹp lấp ló sau bán đảo Sơn Trà phía đối diện. Tùy thuộc vào thời tiết theo mùa khi đích đến của các cuaro xe đạp là đỉnh đèo thường có mây mù nên nó còn được gọi cái tên địa phương khác là đèo Mây mù. Cảm giác leo núi từ chân đèo lên tới đỉnh đèo cao hơn 500m so với mực nước biển, trong làn sương mù mát lạnh như được trải nghiệm hai mùa trong nửa giờ đồng hồ sẽ để lại cho bạn một cảm giác khó quên trong ngày hôm đó.
Trên đỉnh đèo còn có các di tích kiến trúc lô cốt,tháp canh,còn sót lại thời chiến tranh đón đợi các khách du lịch, người đạp xe, phượt thủ check in và thưởng lãm. Cảm giác leo núi mệt nhoài khi tới đích làm một ly coffee sữa đá ngắm cảnh mây mù và núi rừng làm bạn tỉnh táo và tràn đầy năng lượng hơn. Nhóm xe đạp của tôi rất thường xuyên đạp lên đây nhiều nhất là hai ngày thứ 7 và chủ nhật. Đạp xe với nhau cùng trò chuyện cười đùa ngắm cảnh và tất nhiên sau khi đã uống coffee trên đỉnh đèo xong, chúng tôi sẽ xổ dốc xuống lưng chừng đèo ăn sáng. Ở đó sẽ có một nhà hàng địa phương nhỏ tên là Suối Chanh,giản dị phục vụ vài món ngon như gà muối tiêu chanh,nướng muối ớt, xôi và miến. Đây có lẽ là khoảng thời gian thích thú nhất của chúng tôi, nạp năng lượng và một chút bia mát lạnh cùng nhau sau cả tuần làm việc được gặp nhau đông đủ thành viên. Tôi là một trong những thành viên nhỏ tuổi nhất trong team và được mọi người yêu mến khi luôn bày trò giải trí cười đùa và chăm chỉ chụp ảnh cho mọi người. Chúng tôi gắn bó với nhau không chỉ với xe đạp mà như một gia đình bởi mọi người đều cảm thấy sau một tuần có một ngày gặp nhau vui vẻ, chơi thể thao, cùng nhau thưởng thức niềm vui của cuộc sống, tình yêu đó gần gũi như những người thân và khiến chúng tôi luôn có những ý tưởng tìm kiếm những điểm đến hàng tuần mới mẻ và đẹp đẽ như cung đường đèo Hải Vân này.
Nếu có một ngày bạn đến thăm thành phố biển Đà Nẵng, ngoài những điểm đến nổi tiếng khác nếu có thể hãy thuê một chiếc xe đạp hoặc liên hệ với các đội nhóm xe đạp trên facebook để mượn sự giúp đỡ. Tự mình khám phá hoặc cùng bạn bè thưởng thức những cung đường tuyệt vời này nhé. Tôi cảm thấy chỉ có xe đạp,chạy bộ,leo núi mới cảm nhận được hết vẻ đẹp của nó.
