Dangerous Travel During Rainy Day
Living in the mountain is a life full of mixture of feelings most especially during the rainy days. Philippines have dry and wet season. After the climate changes, there are times that almost whole year, it has low pressure that causes rain and humidity.
Last June, we met road accident. That was the second time and the first time was during Sunday when we came back to school from home but lately, it happened Friday afternoon along the sloppy road.The first one, my knee was wounded.The last one was the so painful. Thanks God, we had online class for two weeks.It was a blessing in disguised.
Landslide happening every now and then but I already adjusted. It ever discourage me from doing my mission as an educator. There are so many opportunity in the city but I felt myself better for the indigenous student.
The road was already cemented from Bukidnoon to Davao. Two provinces connected with this road and more connection in the conjunction of the cities. It is the short cut and people were grateful for having a very smooth ride lately,along 5 years ago. Before it was not all cemented until it was done finished last 5 years ago.
This year 2023 and 2024 in one blink of an eye, the road were flooded and covered by the landslide from the top of the mountain. Sometimes, I walked until reaches the good road to pass with motorcycle. My driver just ride the motor slowly without backrider. I felt sad and worry sometime during our trip but I entrust God for His call to me. He gave me this job that fitted my health issues, so there is no reason to complain but to be grateful instead.
My last accident injuries but now totally healed though I have diabetes. Mission is still going on. No to surrender. I am not good in English even in building paragraph or essay because I love numbers , I am a Mathematics teachers who was graduated in a State College. I am now a teacher 3 with master degree. Then, was a sickly child until now but God gave me mission for the people and my family.
