Hola a todos. Deseo que estén muy bien. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles una manera diferente de hacer las pulseras de flores con mostacillas. Sabemos que estas pulseras están de moda, igualmente los collares, zarcillos y anillos elaborados con este tipo de diseños. Hay muchas maneras de hacerlas, esta no es la más sencilla, pero tampoco es difícil. ¡Quédate para mostrarte cómo la hice!

We know that these bracelets are fashionable, as well as necklaces, earrings and rings made with this kind of designs. There are many ways to make them, this is not the easiest one, but it is not difficult either, stay here to show you how I made it!

Mis vecinas pasaron a buscar algunos obsequios para sus hijas y sobrinas quienes acaban de graduarse de bachilleres. Estaban realmente contentas por el logro alcanzado y quieren hacerles un regalo muy bonito. Me pidieron unas pulseras de colores variados, les mostré algunas de flores de mostacillas y les gustaron mucho. Por lo que me encargaron dos adicionales con colores más claros. Entonces decidí hacer un nuevo modelo también de flores empleando otro procedimiento.

My neighbors stopped by to pick up some gifts for their daughters and nieces who just graduated from high school. They were really happy for their achievement and wanted to give them a very nice gift. They asked me for some bracelets in different colors, I showed them some beaded flower bracelets and they liked them very much. So they ordered two additional ones with lighter colors. Then I decided to make a new model also with flowers using another process.

PULSERA DE FLORES.
FLOWER BRACELET.

Para realizar este modelo de pulsera yo utilicé los siguientes materiales:

• Hilo chino.
• Tijeras.
• Mostacillas medianas, colores rosado claro, verde claro y marrón.
• Yesquero.
• Tapa de una caja de cartón.
• Tirro.

To make this bracelet model I used the following materials:

• Chinese thread.
• Scissors.
• Medium size beads, light pink, light green and brown colors.
• Tinder.
• Lid of a cardboard box.
• Tyrro.

En modelos anteriores he usado el hilo nylon, en esta ocasión usé hilo chino. Debemos asegurarnos que las dos hebras pasen por el orificio de las mostacillas.

El procedimiento a seguir es el siguiente:

• Cortar dos hebras de hilo chino; una de 75 cm y otra de 1,20 cm.
• En la hebra de 75 cm meter dos mostacillas, una rosada y una marrón por ambas puntas. Luego hacer un nudo. Cortar y quemar la punta.
• Medimos 6 cm hacia atrás y hacemos otro nudo.

In previous models I have used nylon thread, this time I used Chinese thread. We must make sure that the two strands pass through the hole of the beads.

The procedure to follow is as follows:

• Cut two strands of Chinese thread; one of 75 cm and the other of 1.20 cm.
• In the strand of 75 cm put two beads, one pink and one brown at both ends. Then make a knot. Cut and burn the tip.
• Measure 6 cm backwards and tie another knot.

• Montar la hebra de 75 cm ya anudada sobre tu tabla de prensar. Yo uso una tapa de caja de cartón para prensar el hilo y me resulta muy cómodo.
• Una vez prensada tomar la otra hebra de 1,20 cm. Fijar la medida a la mitad e iniciar el tejido con dos nudos planos.
• Soltar el hilo prensado y meter por ambas puntas una mostacillas color marrón.

• Mount the knotted 75 cm strand of yarn on your pressing board. I use a cardboard box lid to press the yarn and I find it very comfortable.
• Once pressed, take the other 1.20 cm strand. Fix the measure in the middle and start the weaving with two flat knots.
• Release the pressed yarn and insert a brown bead at both ends.

• Por cada una de las hebras de los laterales (la de 1,20 cm) meter 3 mostacillas color rosado.
• Hacer dos nudos planos con estas hebras.
• Seguidamente separar las hebras prensadas y juntarlas con la de los laterales (ver imagen)
• Meter por cada dos hebras 5 mostacillas verdes.
• Volver a prensar el hilo de 75 cm y tejer con los otros hilos 2 nudos planos.
• De esta manera se teje el diseño de la flor.

• For each of the side strands (the 1.20 cm) put 3 pink beads.
• Make two flat knots with these strands.
• Then separate the pressed strands and join them with the one on the sides (see picture).
• Put 5 green beads in each strand.
• Press the 75 cm yarn again and weave 2 flat knots with the other strands.
• In this way the flower design is woven.

• Repetir el diseño de la flor hasta obtener el tamaño deseado para la pulsera. Debemos terminar el diseño en la parte de la flor y no de la hoja.
• Al finalizar se cortan los hilos laterales y se queman esas puntas.
• Con el resto del hilo se realiza el diseño igual que como lo empezamos. Hacer un nudo pegado de la flor. Meter dos mostacillas, marrón y rosado. Medir 6 cm. Hacer otro nudo. Cortar y quemar.

• Repeat the flower design until you get the desired size for the bracelet. We must finish the design in the part of the flower and not the leaf.
• At the end, cut the side threads and burn those ends.
• With the rest of the thread we make the design as we started it. Make a knot attached to the flower. Insert two beads, brown and pink. Measure 6 cm. Make another knot. Cut and burn.

• Esta pulsera es muy linda y aunque no lo parezca se teje rápido. Se tarda un poco para entrar la mostacilla por ambas puntas, pero con la práctica se agiliza el paso.

• This bracelet is very pretty and although it doesn't look like it, it weaves quickly. It takes a little while to get the beads in at both ends, but with practice it will be quicker.

• La pulsera tiene 6 flores. El tamaño ideal para mi muñeca. Si desean hacerlas más grandes tejen más flores. ¿Qué les parece el resultado? Anímense y hagan para regalar.

• The bracelet has 6 flowers. The ideal size for my wrist. If you want to make them bigger, weave more flowers. What do you think of the result? Cheer up and make them as a gift.
