Hola amigos míos 🙋 deseo de todo ❤️ que se sientan muy bien hoy. Por acá sigue haciendo frío, he pasado gran parte de estos días usando monos o pantalones largos porque el frío me produce dolor en las piernas. También me hunto por las noches un poco de aceite de mandarina y después me pongo las medias. Me ha servido de mucho hacer esto porque amanezco con menos dolor. ¿Y a ustedes cómo les va con el frío decembrino?

¡Hey! No te adelantes 🤓 sigue leyendo 😁 como ya viste en las primeras fotografías, he elaborado varias figuras usando mi ventinúnica 😂 masa flexible, de verdad que me ha rendido. Para ser sincera no he sabido darle el uso adecuado. Pero hoy 🥳 logré hacer algo hermoso 👏 hice figuras muy lindas con esta masa, según leí en la web ésta es una de las mejores marcas de masa en el mercado. 🤦

No solo usé la masa sino también un tubo PVC que me sirvió de rodillo, aceite de bebé, un plástico transparente que usé de mantel, mi aguja lanera, varios moldes que mi hermana @linita me prestó y unos "repujadores" que compré en la bodega más cercana a mi casa.

Es chistoso porque la palabra repujadores la hemos venido usando desde hace años. Estas herramientas las promocionan y venden para usar en el arreglo de uñas, ¿Se llamarán así? 🤔 Yo les estoy dando otros usos 🤭

No es la primera vez que uso la masa, hace algún tiempo realicé varios intentos y el resultado fueron varios dijes moldeados a mano alzada ✍️ pintados con pintura al frío (la masa previamente pintada) de diferentes formas, tamaños y colores. Con ellos hice pulseras y algunos collares. Claro que la diferencia entre los que verás hoy y aquéllos es notoria. ¿Por qué será?

✍️ Lo primero que hice fue amasar mucho esta masa de color gris. La que promocionan es blanca, pero esta me costó muy barata por ser gris 😁. Después se extiende y aplana muchas veces también con el rodillo. Para lograr que se sienta elástica y poder trabajarla. Aunque si vas a usar los moldes no es necesario estirarla tanto. ¡Creo!

✍️ Engrasé con el aceite de bebé los moldes y la masa antes de empezar a estirarla. La idea es mantenerla húmeda para que no se quiebre o agriete. Esta masa se seca rápido 🏃 así que hay que trabajar premeditadamente.

Al principio la masa me quedó muy delgada, me di cuenta después que empecé a poner los moldes sobre ella. Marqué con varios moldes y luego volví a amasar y extender lo que me iba quedando de masa.

✍️ Ahora sí aproveché de dejar la masa un poco más gruesa porque quiero tener algunos dijes elaborados y debía hacerles el orificio. Para este paso me fue muy útil la aguja lanera. Esto hay que hacerlo con mucho cuidado para que la aguja entre en dirección correcta y no rompa la figura. Los que realicé primero también tienen orificio, pero no por el medio. Espero usarlos también en accesorios como zarcillos, cadenas y pulseras.

Con los repujadores dejé marcado el espacio de los ojos y la boca de algunas figuras, además me sirvieron para delinearlas todas.

✍️ Es importante 🚫 no presionar esta masa luego de moldeada, es bastante delicada. Para dejar lisa la figura hay que dar leves golpecitos mientras hacemos movimientos como de lijado. De esta manera quedarán sin grumos ni basuritas por las orillas.

🥳 Este nuevo intento me encantó. Claro 🙄 usando moldes todo es más fácil y rápido. Estuve tan concentrada haciendo esto que se me pasó la hora del desayuno y al levantarme ya me tocó hacer almuerzo. ¡Yo que pensé que solo el tejido era capaz de mantenerme ocupada y alejada del mundo en que vivo! 😂 Esta actividad también es adictiva.

☺️ Me inspiré el día de hoy porque estuve revisando mis redes y una de las amigas del grupo de Porcelana fría publicó todo lo que tenía elaborado 😜 solo bellezas tamaño miniatura. Fue entonces que recordé que tengo la masa, los moldes y ganas de seguir aprendiendo. Solo me queda el dilema ¿Cómo la pinto para obtener buenos resultados? Tal vez use la pintura al frío o quizá intente probar algo nuevo. ¿Cómo la pintan ustedes?

To be honest I didn't know how to put it to the right use. But today 🥳 I managed to make something beautiful 👏 I made very nice figures with this dough, according to what I read on the web this is one of the best brands of dough on the market. 🤦

Not only I used the dough but also a PVC tube that served me as a rolling pin, baby oil, a transparent plastic that I used as a tablecloth, my wool needle, several molds that my sister @linita lent me and some "embossers" that I bought at the bodega closest to my house.

It's funny because we have been using the word "embossers" for years. These tools are advertised and sold for use in nail trimming, is that what they're called? 🤔 I'm putting them to other uses 🤭

It is not the first time I use the dough, some time ago I made several attempts and the result were several freehand molded charms ✍️ painted with cold paint (the dough previously painted) of different shapes, sizes and colors. With them I made bracelets and some necklaces. Of course, the difference between the ones you will see today and those ones is notorious, why is that?

✍️ The first thing I did was to knead this gray dough a lot. The one they promote is white, but this one cost me very cheap because it is gray 😁. Then you roll it out and flatten it many times with the rolling pin as well. To get it to feel elastic and be able to work it. Although if you're going to use the molds you don't need to stretch it that much. i think!

✍️ I greased the molds and the dough with the baby oil before I started stretching it. The idea is to keep it moist so it doesn't crack or crack. This dough dries out fast 🏃 so you have to work premeditated.

At first the dough was very thin for me, I realized this after I started putting the molds on it. I marked with several molds and then went back to kneading and rolling out what I had left of dough.

✍️ Now I took the opportunity to make the dough a little thicker because I want to have some elaborate charms and I had to make the hole in them. For this step I found the wool needle very useful. This has to be done very carefully so that the needle enters in the right direction and does not break the figure. The ones I made first also have a hole, but not in the middle. I hope to use them also in accessories such as earrings, chains and bracelets.

With the embossers I marked the space for the eyes and mouth of some figures, and they also helped me to outline all of them.

It is important ✍️ It is important 🚫 not to press this dough after molding, it is quite delicate. To make the figure smooth, it is necessary to tap it lightly while making sanding-like movements. In this way it will be free of lumps and lumps around the edges.

🥳 I loved this new attempt. Sure 🙄 using dies everything is easier and faster. I was so focused making this that I missed breakfast time and when I got up it was already my turn to make lunch. I thought only knitting was able to keep me busy and away from the world I live in! 😂 This activity is also addictive.

☺️ I was inspired today because I was going through my networks and one of the friends from the Cold Porcelain group posted everything she had crafted 😜 just miniature sized beauties. It was then that I remembered that I have the dough, the molds and desire to continue learning. I'm just left with the dilemma how do I paint it to get good results? Maybe I'll use the cold paint or maybe I'll try something new. How do you paint it?
