No me imaginé que este año nuestro concurso para celebrar a las madres tendría un tema en específico. Me complace saber que las administradoras de la comunidad están muy atentas a lo que constantemente publicamos. Elaborar accesorios es una actividad que me gusta mucho. Este año he realizado algunos modelos de pulseras, zarcillos, collares y anillos empleando materiales de uso frecuente como abalorios, perlas, cuentas, mostacillas y otros. Por esta razón elegí para mi entrada al concurso un accesorio diferente. Te invito a conocer de qué se trata y a dejarme tu opinión al respecto. ¡Empecemos!

Mi mamá es una mujer muy coqueta. Desde que tengo uso de razón la he visto ocuparse de su aspecto físico, siempre está presentable aunque esté realizando los oficios del hogar. Desde que retomé la elaboración de prendas de bisutería le he realizado muchos accesorios. Y cuando se le dañan o se rompen ella me los trae para que se los repare o le haga otros nuevos.
A mí me encanta que ella luzca muy bonita y se sienta feliz de llevar puestas prendas que yo le he elaborado. A pesar de que apenas estoy aprendiendo, veo que en el cuerpo de mi mamá todo se ve bonito. ¡Ahora sí! Déjenme mostrarles lo que hice para ella ❤️.
My mom is a very flirtatious woman. For as long as I can remember I have seen her take care of her physical appearance, she is always presentable even when she is doing household chores. Since I started making costume jewelry I have made many accessories for her. And when they get damaged or broken she brings them to me so I can repair them or make her new ones.
I love that she looks very pretty and feels happy to wear clothes that I have made for her. Even though I'm just learning, I see that everything on my mom's body looks beautiful. Now it does! Let me show you what I made for her ❤️.
Mi proyecto comenzó en la madrugada. Me desperté inspirada. Esos momentos no se desperdician y me levanté a preparar mi mesa de trabajo. No estaba segura de cuántos y cuáles materiales usaría definitivamente, por lo que coloqué sobre la mesa las herramientas de bisutería y demás insumos. Lo que sí tenía muy definido era hacer UN BRAZALETE y LOS ARETES con tela. Al principio pensé usar tela de jean o vaquera, pero después cambié de opinión y utilicé una tela doble cara, por un lado es aterciopelada y por el otro impermeable.
My project started in the wee hours of the morning. I woke up inspired. Those moments are not to be wasted and I got up to prepare my work table. I wasn't sure how many and which materials I would definitely use, so I placed the jewelry tools and other supplies on the table. What I did have very definite was to make ONE BRACELET and THE RINGS with fabric. At first I thought of using denim, but then I changed my mind and used a double-sided fabric, velvety on one side and waterproof on the other.

💍. Díganos para quién está haciendo el regalo de joyería y por qué eligió a esta persona.
Este regalo de joyería lo estoy haciendo para mi mamá la señora Gladys. La elegí porque se lo merece, ella ha Sido siempre una excelente guía, orientadora, amorosa y abnegada madre. A ella le encanta lucir siempre bien y estrenar algún accesorio cada día.
💍. Comparta con nosotros por qué eligió este proyecto en particular para crear para ellos.
Elegí este proyecto porque en días recientes ya le había regalado a mi mamá varios conjuntos o juegos de accesorios elaborados con mostacillas, piedras y cuentas. Decidí realizar algo diferente empleado la tela y los botones como materiales principales.

Danos un poco de información sobre tu estado emocional durante y/o después de hacer tu regalo. ¿Cuáles fueron tus pensamientos durante el proceso de creación? ¿Cómo te sentiste al crear este proyecto? ¿Te gustaría tener tiempo para hacer más para esta persona? Si es así, ¿cuál sería? ( no es necesario que responda todas las preguntas de la n.° 3, pero al menos una de ellas)
Me encantaría tener más tiempo y material para hacer muchas joyas para mi mamá. Ella es la persona a la que más le he hecho accesorios. También le reparo las que se dañan y en algunas ocasiones las hemos realizado juntas.
Pensaba mucho en si le gustará este modelo de brazalete hecho en tela. Incluso, le pregunté antes si lo usaría. Sé que ella es algo exigente en este aspecto. Lo sé porque hace unos años le tejí varios zarcillos y ninguno los usó; me dijo que a ella le gusta más la piedreria porque esos zarcillos de hilo a ella no le lucen. ¡Esas fueron sus palabras!
Espero que aunque sea para dos terapias se anime a llevar este conjunto que le he realizado con amor.

I am making this jewelry gift for my mom Gladys. I chose her because she deserves it, she has always been an excellent guide, counselor, loving and selfless mother. She loves to always look good and have a new accessory every day.
💍. Share with us why you chose this particular project to create for them.
I chose this project because in recent days I had already given my mom several sets of accessories made with beads, stones and beads. I decided to make something different using fabric and buttons as the main materials.
💍. Give us a little bit of information about your emotional state during and/or after making your gift. What were your thoughts during the creation process? How did you feel about creating this project? Would you like to have time to make more for this person? If so, what would it be ( you don't have to answer all the questions in #3, but at least one of them )
I would love to have more time and material to make lots of jewelry for my mom. She is the person I have made the most accessories for. I also repair her damaged ones and on a few occasions we have made them together.
I thought a lot about whether she will like this model of bracelet made in fabric. I even asked her beforehand if she would wear it. I know she is a bit picky in this aspect. I know this because a few years ago I wove her several tendrils and she didn't wear any of them; she told me that she likes the stoneware better because those thread tendrils don't look good on her. Those were her words!
I hope that even if it is only for two therapies she will be encouraged to wear this outfit that I have made with love.

To make this beautiful set or accessory set for the queen of the house, my mom, I used the following materials:
👑 Velvety fabric.
👑 Buttons.
👑 Sewing threads.
👑 Nylon thread.
👑 Sewing needle.
👑 Head pins.
👑 Scissors.
👑 Silver thread.
👑 Flat base for tendrils in round shape.
👑 Silicone plugs for tendrils.
👑 Plastic beads.
👑 Brooch.
👑 Tweezers.
👑 Tape measure.
👑 Glue.
👑 Knot cover.
👑 Necklace locks.
Elaborar el juego completo ameritó de unas seis horas de trabajo. En las primeras cuatro horas de la mañana realicé el brazalete y los aretes, al final de la noche hice el collar.
It took about six hours of work to make the complete set. In the first four hours of the morning I made the bracelet and the earrings, at the end of the night I made the necklace.
BRAZALETE.
Paso 1 👑
Medir y cortar. Las medidas que tomé son 24 cm de largo por 5 de ancho. Estas medidas las tomé sobre el trozo de tela doble.
Luego corté y cosí por todo el borde a lo largo de la tela haciendo simultáneamente un dobladillo.
Al finalizar posicioné la costura en medio de uno de los lados de la tela.
BRAZALET.
Step 1 👑
Measure and cut. The measurements I took are 24 cm long by 5 cm wide. These measurements I took on the double piece of fabric.
Then I cut and sewed all around the edge along the fabric simultaneously making a hem.
At the end I positioned the seam in the middle of one side of the fabric.
Paso 2 👑
Seleccionar los botones y crear el diseño para el brazalete.
Para mí suerte tenía unos botones preciosos, dos con la decoración de una corona de reina en color dorado y otros en color plateado con un diseño diferente.
Step 2 👑
Select the buttons and create the design for the bracelet.
For my luck I had some beautiful buttons, two with the decoration of a queen's crown in gold color and others in silver color with a different design.
Paso 3 👑
Medir el espacio donde irán los broches. Para ello dejé una distancia de 3 cm desde la orilla de cada extremo.
Seguidamente tomé la cadena de cuentas y la fui cosiendo con hilo naylon formando un diseño de curvas.
Después cosí en el centro de cada curva un botón. Ubicándolos como puedes ver en la fotografía.
Step 3 👑
Measure the space where the snaps will go. To do this I left a distance of 3 cm from the edge of each end.
Next I took the beaded chain and sewed it together with naylon thread forming a design of curves.
Then I sewed a button in the center of each curve. Placing them as you can see in the picture.
Para finalizar el diseño del brazalete pegué unos apliques en color plateado bordeando cada botón.
En este momento sentí una profunda admiración por quienes se dedican como oficio a la joyería. Es un trabajo meticuloso que amerita precisión y buen manejo de las pinzas para colocar adecuadamente cada componente de la joya.
To finish the design of the bracelet I glued some silver-colored appliqués bordering each button.
At this moment I felt a deep admiration for those who dedicate themselves to jewelry making. It is a meticulous work that requires precision and good handling of the tweezers to properly place each component of the jewel.
Paso 4 👑
Cerrar el brazalete.
Antes de cerrar con costura cada extremo del brazalete se coloca el broche. Se tapan las costuras de ser necesario y luego se cosen los extremos haciendo un doblés de la tela hacia adentro.
Para esta costura utilicé el hilo plateado.
Step 4 👑
Close the bracelet.
Before sewing each end of the bracelet closed with stitching attach the clasp. Cover the seams if necessary and then sew the ends by folding the fabric inward.
I used silver thread for this seam.
ARETES.
Para hacer los aretes los pasos son los siguientes:
Paso 1 👑
Eliminar la parte de atrás de los botones. Esto lo hice usando un cuchillo casero.
EARRINGS.
To make the earrings the steps are as follows:
Step 1 👑
Remove the back of the buttons. I did this using a homemade knife.
Paso 2 👑
Colocar tela aterciopelada en la parte de atrás de cada botón. Para ello los pegué en el reverso de la tela, al estar pegados corté todo el borde sobrante.
Seguidamente los monté y pegué sobre la base redonda para aretes.
Step 2 👑
Place velvet fabric on the back of each button. To do this I glued them on the back of the fabric, being glued I cut off all the excess edge.
I then mounted and glued them on the round earring base.
De esta forma ya tenía terminado el brazalete y los aretes para regalar a mi mamá. El resultado me gusta mucho. Digno para una reina.
This way I had already finished the bracelet and the earrings to give to my mom. I like the result very much. Fit for a queen.
COLLAR.
Para hacer el collar me decidí por un diseño sencillo. Los pasos para hacerlos son los siguientes:
Paso 1 👑
Medí en la tela azul aterciopelada 1cm de la tela doble. Luego la corté, doblé al revés y cosí por los extremos. Seguidamente le di la vuelta e introduce en ella 55 cm de hilo nylon rígido transparente y siete perlas redondas medianas.
NECKLACE.
To make the necklace I decided on a simple design. The steps to make them are as follows:
Step 1 👑
I measured on the blue velvet fabric 1cm of the double fabric. Then I cut it, folded inside out and sewed along the ends. Next I turned it inside out and inserted into it 55 cm of transparent stiff nylon thread and seven medium round beads.
Paso 2 👑
Con el hilo color plateado fui apretando la tela entre perla y perla. Al finalizar en cada uno de los extremos bordé para simular unos aros como terminales. Siempre procurando que no se mueva el hilo naylon.
Paso 3 👑
Colocar los abalorios y seguros al collar. Finalmente quemamos los hilos sobrantes.
Step 2 👑
With the silver-colored thread I was tightening the fabric between pearl and pearl. At the end of each of the ends I embroidered to simulate some hoops as terminals. Always making sure that the naylon thread does not move.
Step 3 👑
Attach the beads and locks to the necklace. Finally we burn the excess threads.
De esta forma queda terminado este obsequio para mi mamá. El día de las madres estaré con ella y le entregaré su joya. 👑👸❤️🙋
