Ranitas tejidas. WOVEN FROGS.

Hola amigos. Espero que estén muy bien. A continuación voy a mostrarles un nuevo modelo de colita que realicé, en esta oportunidad tejí una ranita y la cosí en la colita o banda elástica. Se usa poco material y el resultado es genial. A mi me gustó mucho y estoy segura que a ustedes también les gustará.

Me gustó mucho hacer estas ranitas. Siempre aprovecho de sacar estos modelos y tener disponibles por si alguien pasa buscando algo nuevo. A las niñas les encanta modelar colitas en la escuela. Yo también las uso y la verdad es que son bastante llamativas.

Hello friends. I hope you are very well. Next I am going to show you a new model of tail that I made, this time I knitted a frog and sewed it on the tail or elastic band. It uses little material and the result is great. I liked it very much and I am sure you will like it too.

I really enjoyed making these froggies. I always take the opportunity to get these patterns out and have them available in case someone comes by looking for something new. The girls love to model tails at school. I use them too and they are quite eye-catching.

Ranitas tejidas. WOVEN FROGS.

Desde hace un tiempo quería tejerlas, todos los días amanezco con el deseo de hacer proyectos llamativos y bonitos, sin embargo acabo decidiéndome por los más sencillos y rápidos de tejer. A veces por la cantidad de material que tengo y otras porque mi cuerpo no me acompaña 😔 y me canso antes de empezar.

Los materiales que usé para elaborar las ranas son: Hilo pabilo de tonos verdes. Hilo pabilo color negro y color blanco. Aguja de crochet de 2,25mm. Aguja lanera. Pegamento. Tijeras. Ojos plásticos. Banda elástica o colita para el cabello.

I've been wanting to knit them for a while now, every day I wake up with the desire to make flashy and beautiful projects, however I end up deciding for the simplest and quickest ones to knit. Sometimes because of the amount of material I have and sometimes because my body doesn't go with me 😔 and I get tired before I start.

The materials I used to make the frogs are: Pabilo thread in shades of green. Black and white wick yarn. Crochet needle of 2,25mm. Wool needle. Glue. Scissors. Plastic eyes. Elastic band or hair tie.

🐸 Hacerlas me encantó. Como hago casi siempre es un proceso de ensayo y error, pero esta vez me quedó bien el patrón a la primera que lo tejí. Esto me gusta porque es señal de que voy avanzando. Uno se imagina y crea. Todavía no me he puesto a dibujar primero, pero sé que es otra técnica que funciona bien. Por los momentos me da gusto comprobar que estos diseños sencillos los he podido tejer nada más mirando uno ya tejido.

🐸 Empecé por el cuerpo de la ranita. Para ello tejí 11 cadenas. Inmediatamente tejí ocho vueltas de pb. Había tejido solo 6, luego medí y me di cuenta que le faltaban 2 para poder tener espacio suficiente y meter la colita.

🐸 I loved making them. As I almost always do it's a trial and error process, but this time I got the pattern right the first time I knitted it. I like this because it's a sign that I'm making progress. One imagines and creates. I have not yet started to draw first, but I know that it is another technique that works well. At the moment I am happy to see that I have been able to knit these simple designs just by looking at one already knitted.

🐸 I started with the body of the little frog. For this I knit 11 chains. I immediately knit eight rounds of bp. I had knit only 6, then I measured and realized that it was 2 short in order to have enough room to tuck in the little tail.

🐸 Lo siguiente fue tejer la primera pieza de sus ojos. Tejí desde un am 6pb. Luego hice una vuelta de 6aum de pb y finalicé con una vuelta de 12pb. Cerré y dejé la hebra larga para coser.

🐸 Next was to knit the first piece of her eyes. I knit from a 6pb am. Then I knit a 6aum round of bp and finished with a 12pb round. I closed and left the long strand to sew in.

🐸 Con el hilo blanco tejí la segunda pieza de los ojos de la rana. Hice 6pb en un am. Cerré y rematé. Escondí las hebras.

🐸 With the white yarn I knit the second piece of the frog's eyes. I knit 6pb in an am. I closed and topped off. I hid the strands.

🐸 Ya teniendo todas las piezas terminadas procedí a unirlas.🐸

🐸 Having all the pieces finished, I proceeded to join them together 🐸.

🐸 Tomé la pieza rectangular y la doblé poniendo por dentro la banda elástica, esto para tomar la medida y proceder a bordar la boca. Para hacer la boca usé el hilo color negro.

🐸 I took the rectangular piece and folded it and put the elastic band inside, this to take the measurement and proceed to embroider the mouth. To make the mouth I used the black thread.

🐸 Después cosí sobre un borde del rectángulo los dos ojos de la ranita. Luego de coser el segundo ojo doblé el rectángulo y uní sus dos extremos.

🐸 Inmediatamente coloqué pegamento dentro de cada ojo y pegué allí la parte blanca tejida y también el ojo plástico color negro.

🐸 Then I sewed on one edge of the rectangle the two eyes of the frog. After sewing the second eye I folded the rectangle and joined its two ends together.

🐸 I immediately put glue inside each eye and glued there the white woven part and also the black plastic eye.
