Hola amigos, espero que estén muy bien. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles el resultado final de un lindo proyecto que recién terminé. El proceso para su elaboración es sumamente sencillo, por ello estoy segura que querrás empezar ya a tejer los tuyos.

En el tejido a crochet existen diferentes técnicas con las que podemos crear diferentes y variados diseños. En esta oportunidad quiero que veas como quedó un pequeño tapete que realicé empleando la técnica llamada filet.

Hello friends, I hope you are very well. Today I want to show you the final result of a beautiful project I just finished. The process for its elaboration is very simple, that's why I'm sure you will want to start knitting yours.

In crochet knitting there are different techniques with which we can create different and varied designs. This time I want you to see how a small rug I made using the technique called filet turned out.

Hace algunos años tejí por primera vez usando esta técnica. Es muy bonito el resultado de todo lo que realizamos empleando el filet. Esta técnica consiste el tejer siguiendo un patrón de puntos altos. Es por esto que la mayoría de los nuevos tejedores usan esta técnica en sus primeras creaciones.

Como pueden ver en el siguiente patrón, cortesía de una tejedora del grupo de Facebook de Tejiendo con Tax, se muestra la secuencia de puntos altos que debemos seguir para lograr el diseño definitivo en el que se forma la palabra LOVE. Lo que haremos es seguir el patrón sin descuidarnos en cada una de las líneas, porque empezaremos desde un lado y continuaremos la próxima vuelta desde el otro.

Some years ago I knitted for the first time using this technique. It is very nice the result of everything we make using the filet. This technique consists of knitting following a pattern of high stitches. That is why most of the new knitters use this technique in their first creations.

As you can see in the following pattern, courtesy of a knitter from the Knitting with Tax Facebook group, it shows the sequence of high stitches that we must follow to achieve the final design in which the word LOVE is formed. What we will do is follow the pattern without being careless in each of the rows, because we will start from one side and continue the next round from the other.

🌟 Para tejer mi tapete utilicé hilo pabilo color azul claro y un gancho de crochet de 2,25mm, tambien usé las tijeras.

🧶 Este diseño se inicia con 27 cadenas de las cuales 5 de ellas serán para subir e iniciar el primer cuadro del diseño. Si seguimos el patrón sin descuidarnos, de derecha a izquierda y después de izquierda a derecha, vuelta por vuelta iremos formando toda la palabra, pero lo haremos letra por letra.

🧶 El filet consiste en tejer puntos altos según lo indique el patrón. Para formar los cuadros vacíos también conocidos como casitas vacías debemos dejar 2 puntos de la base sin trabajar y en la vuelta tejer 2 cadenas de separación. Luego en el resto de las vueltas las casitas vacías se tejerán: sobre 1 punto un punto alto, 2 cadenas y otro punto alto. Para formar las casitas llenas debemos tejer dentro de la casita vacía de la vuelta anterior solo 2 puntos altos. De esta manera haremos todo el tejido fijándonos del patrón, dibujo o gráfico.

🌟 To knit my mat I used a light blue yarn and a 2,25mm crochet hook, I also used the scissors.

🧶 This design starts with 27 chains of which 5 of them will be to go up and start the first square of the design. If we follow the pattern without getting careless, from right to left and then from left to right, turn by turn we will be forming the whole word, but we will do it letter by letter.

🧶 The filet consists of knitting high stitches as indicated in the pattern. To form the empty squares also known as empty houses we must leave 2 stitches of the base without working and in the row knit 2 chains of separation. Then in the rest of the rows the empty houses will be knitted: on 1 stitch a single crochet, 2 chains and another double crochet. To form the full houses we must knit inside the empty house of the previous row only 2 double crochet stitches. In this way we will do all the knitting, taking into account the pattern, drawing or graphic.

🧶 Siguiendo toda la secuencia del patrón iremos tejiendo cada vuelta hasta formar la palabra completa. Para no perdernos en la lectura del patrón podemos usar una regla e ir señalando con un marcador la dirección en la que hemos comenzado cada vuelta. Por supuesto que con la práctica y siempre estando atentos al tejidos esta recomendación no nos hará falta.

🧶 Following the whole sequence of the pattern we will knit each row until we form the complete word. To avoid getting lost when reading the pattern we can use a ruler and mark with a marker the direction in which we have started each row. Of course, with practice and always being attentive to the knitting, this recommendation will not be necessary.

🧶 Una vez que hayamos terminado de tejer todo el diseño vamos a tejer por todo el alrededor un borde de puntos bajos. Me encanta como se ve este tejido que dice LOVE.

🧶 Once we have finished knitting the whole design we are going to knit all the way around a low stitch border. I love the look of this knit that says LOVE.
