Hoy voy a mostrarles un proyecto que surgió casi sin pensarlo, me sentí motivada a crearlo después de ver una publicación de la amiga @katiuskamata, en ella mostró el proceso para elaborar un lindo posa olla 🫕 o posa tazas, se le puede dar ambos usos. Me encantó ese diseño y quise recrearlo con la intención de hacerlos en época decembrina.

Today I'm going to show you a project that came up almost without thinking about it, I was motivated to create it after seeing a publication of the friend @katiuskamata, in it she showed the process to develop a nice pot holder 🫕 or cup holder, you can give it both uses. I loved this design and wanted to recreate it with the intention of making them during the holiday season.

Les cuento que me estoy durmiendo un poco más temprano últimamente, pero me sigo despertando de madrugada. Esta vez tomé el teléfono y leí varios post de #hive, entré a mi feed a leer los contenidos de quienes sigo, me detuve en el contenido de la amiga Katiuska porque me pareció muy original el diseño que presentó tejido a crochet. Enseguida me levanté, hice café, busqué la cesta de los hilos y unas paletas. ¿Adivinen qué? Me puse a tejer 🧶 a las 3:05 de la mañana.

I tell you that I'm falling asleep a little earlier lately, but I keep waking up in the early morning. This time I picked up the phone and read several #hive posts, I went to my feed to read the content of those I follow, I stopped at the content of my friend Katiuska because I found very original the design she presented crocheted. I immediately got up, made coffee, looked for the yarn basket and some paddles. Guess what? I started knitting 🧶 at 3:05 in the morning.

¡Qué maravilla cuando tengo los materiales que necesito! Usé siete paletas de madera color rojo, para pegarlas y lograr la forma usé silicón caliente.

How wonderful when I have the materials I need! I used seven red wooden pallets, to glue them together and achieve the shape I used hot silicone.

De la cesta 🧺 de los hilos saqué el hilo 🧶 pabilo color rojo ya que quiero usar los colores 🎄 navideños para tener las muestras. Elegí mi gancho de crochet de 2,25mm y comencé a cubrir las paletas tejiendo pb. En los espacios más cortos tejí solo 6pb, al llegar a la esquina donde se hace la curva tejí 4cadenas. Luego pasé a las partes más largas de las paletas y tejí en cada espacio 12pb separando con 2cadenas el espacio donde atraviesan las paletas verticalmente. Así continué hasta completar los cuatro lados del diseño.

From the basket 🧺 of yarns I took out the yarn 🧶 red colored wick as I want to use the Christmas 🎄 colors to have the samples. I chose my 2,25mm crochet hook and started to cover the pallets by knitting pb. In the shorter spaces I knitted only 6bp, when I got to the corner where the curve is made I knitted 4chains. Then I moved on to the longest parts of the paddles and knitted in each space 12 sts, separating with 2 chains the space where the paddles cross vertically. I continued in this way until I completed all four sides of the design.

Para la segunda vuelta inicié con 2cadenas, en ese mismo punto de base tejí 1pa y en el siguiente otro pa (punto alto) luego 1cadena, 2pa, 1cadena, 2pa, es el patrón que tejí por todo el diseño. En el espacio donde separé con 2cadenas (paleta vertical) tejí 1cadena,1pa,1cadena. En las esquinas después del punto cadena del patrón tejí 2pa,2cadenas y continué con 1cadena para seguir el patrón.

For the second round I started with 2 chains, in that same base stitch I knit 1pa and in the next one another pa (high stitch) then 1chain, 2pa, 1chain, 2pa, this is the pattern I knitted for the whole design. In the space where I separated with 2 chains (vertical paddle) I knit 1chain,1pa,1chain. In the corners after the chain stitch of the pattern I knit 2pa,2chain and continued with 1chain to follow the pattern.

En la tercera vuelta tejí abanicos de 3pa en cada uno de los espacios de 1cadena de separación de la vuelta anterior, esta vez sin dejar separación entre los abanicos. En las esquinas tejí abanicos de 3pa separados por 2cadenas.

En la cuarta vuelta tejí con hilo pabilo color 🤍 blanco, punto sobre punto solo pb, en las esquinas tejí 3pb dentro de las 2cadenas que separan los abanicos. Al finalizar todo el diseño rematé con pd, corté y escondí la hebra.

In the third row I knit 3pa fans in each of the 1 chain spaces of the previous row, this time without leaving a gap between the fans. In the corners I knit 3pa fans separated by 2 strands.

In the fourth row I knitted with white 🤍 color wick yarn, stitch over stitch only bps, in the corners I knitted 3 bps inside the 2 chains that separate the fans. At the end of the whole design I finished with pd, cut and hid the yarn.

Para decorar decidí tejer tres 💐 flores sencillas, dos blancas y una amarilla, también tres hojas 🍂 en color 🌿 verde. Ya estaba amaneciendo, me mudé para la mesa de trabajo y allí finalicé mi proyecto. Estas florecitas las pegué al diseño con silicón caliente. Antes de comenzar a pegarlas giré la labor porque me gusta más como se ven los espacios o rectángulos de forma vertical. Y así quedó lo que para mí es una VENTANA MÁGICA tejida a crochet. Quedará a gusto de quién la obtenga el uso que le dará a este bello diseño.

To decorate I decided to knit three 💐 simple flowers, two white and one yellow, also three leaves 🍂 in green 🌿 color. It was already dawn, I moved to the work table and there I finished my project. I glued these little flowers to the design with hot silicone. Before I started gluing them, I rotated the work because I like the way the spaces or rectangles look more vertically. And this is what I call a MAGICAL WINDOW crocheted with crochet. It will be up to you to choose the use you will give to this beautiful design.
